v0.14.0 - Minor update to the game engine

This is a fairly small update in terms of actual features, and is mostly just an update to the underlying Unity engine to be on the latest version. Other small bug fixes and minor improvements are included.

v0.13.1 - Major change to "Bracing"

Things just got less frustrating. Previously, you could hold the Shift key to "Brace", which would make you resist forces (like Rift forces) and stay in one spot more easily. Not bracing usually meant getting pulled into a Rift, or flung all over the place. But I realized that A) New players didn't really understand this concept, and didn't use it enough, and got frustrated, and B) By the later levels, experienced players were just holding down the Shift key almost 100% of the time, which was more of a hassle than a skill.

So, with this update, Bracing is now automatic. Any time you're not actively walking in a direction, you'll automatically brace. This makes everything feel much more in control than it did before.

For speedrunners, who appreciated the ability not to brace in cases where it helped them go faster, you can still have that experience, by making sure you're always holding down on a movement key if you want to bypass the Auto-Brace behavior.

v0.13.0 - Three new levels, and major changes to the Demo

The big feature in 0.13 is the addition of three new levels towards the start of the game. Look for "Tunnel Vision", "Run the Gauntlet", and "Virtual Velocity" in the level selection list, near the top.

These new levels extend the initial "Orientation Course" portion of the game, and are now included in the Demo. The Demo used to be a single level, taking maybe 5-10 minutes on average. The Demo now contains 4 levels, and is probably more like a 20-30 minute experience.

v0.12.2 - More cutscene/story content

This release brings the story up to the end of the Advanced Training section of the game, which means about half of the existing levels now have their story content.

0.12.1-f2 - Bug fix for Research Labs levels

This is a minor bug fix release, which corrects a serious bug occurring in levels like "Red Shift".
