fpsVR - 1.14.2

The fpsVR has been updated with the following changes:
  • An attempt to fix the "random" NullReferenceException and ExternalException exceptions that sometimes appear for some users (exceptions did not terminate the application, only error reports were generated).
  • Logging to CSV-files: feedback based corrections - the volume of the "gong" sound is reduced, the local time is removed.
  • The option for Desktop Utilities has been renamed (see tab "Overlays") and disabled by default for new users.

fpsVR - 1.14.1

The fpsVR has been updated with the following changes:
  • "Hide Overlay" is replaced by "Visibility", which has 3 options: "Hide", "With Dashboard" (Show only if the dashboard is open), "Always Show".
  • Fixed: the “Other batteries” section is not always updated when it should (on the desktop window)
  • Fixed: Center Marker appears with controllers turned off (under certain conditions), although it should not.

fpsVR - 1.14

The fpsVR has been updated with the following changes:
  • A new "Screenshots" page was added on the "Advanced" tab.
  • Added the ability to take screenshots from the keyboard.
  • A button has been added on the "Screenshots" page, which makes it possible to take screenshots if for some reason you cannot take screenshots in the standard way.
  • Added the ability to take screenshots of the in-game fpsVR overlay ("Screenshots" page, on the "Advanced" tab)
  • Added new page for frames data logging to csv files on the tab "Advanced"
  • Fixed: "Floor Fix" doesn't work if inactive LIV client is used (It is equally possible for other virtual controllers)
  • "Hide Overlay" now does not hide overlay while dashboard is opened.
  • The dialog box for exiting the application on the desktop was removed when trying to exit the application through the menu in the tray.
  • Changed the algorithm for determining the status of the controllers. This should help if the WMR controller was turned off, but SteamVR still shows it as turned on, which affect the determination of where the overlay should be attached.
  • Fixed a bug where fpsVR used a little more CPU than it should have when displaying the status of additional batteries (trackers, additional controllers, etc.)
  • Other minor fixes and changes.


fpsVR - 1.13.3

The fpsVR has been updated with the following changes:

  • Fixed: incorrect positioning of the desktop utilities overlay (related to SteamVR 1.11 update) (the algorithm has been redone)
  • Fixed: bugs that occurred when exiting fpsVR through the Windows tray icon menu.
  • Fixed: Space rotation options does not work when cable tangling tracking is turned off

The following changes were originally planned for 1.14, but released now:
  • Tabs "Floor Fix" and "Chaperone" combined in to "Play Space"
  • Added: Manual adjustment of height/floor level
  • Increased microphone status update rate

fpsVR - 1.13.2

The fpsVR has been updated with the following changes:

  • Added the ability to control Motion Reprojection setting (via the Motion Smoothing setting) for WMR headsets. This setting will only work if certain change are made to the configuration file of the Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR application. Instructions are in the configuration file, usually located in the Steam library ...\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\MixedRealityVRDriver\\resources\\settings\\default.vrsettings
  • Reworked "Floor Fix" work algorithm. Now it does not use the role of controllers (Left controller, Right controller), but simply selects the controller that is below all. This should fix one problem that occurs when the controller is lying on the floor for a while and SteamVR removes the role of the Left or Right controller from it.
  • Other minor changes and fixes.
