[Beginner's Guide] Time and Turn in MISTOVER

MISTOVER is a turn-based game where time plays a key role in determining your fate. The encroaching Mist threatens all of humanity, and every moment is precious in the countdown to the end of the world.

Each turn you take throughout the game is linked to your survival and the time remaining for you to save humanity. That's why understanding the role of both "time" and "turn" in MISTOVER is essential!

What is the Doomsday Clock?
  • The mysterious contraption visualizes the time remaining until the end of the world. At the end of every expedition, the Doomsday Clock may move. When it strikes midnight, the world will face its doom.
  • Depending on gameplay and performance, the hands of the Doomsday Clock will either move forward or backward.
  • Defeat more monsters, illuminate more Light Flowers, and search more Treasure Chests and Debris to keep the Doomsday Clock from striking midnight.
  • Even trivial activities can affect the movement of the Doomsday Clock. Explore dungeons efficiently and work hard to prevent the end of the world!

Why is Time/Turn Important During Expeditions?
  • Each action performed during an expedition counts as 1 turn, including moving, using "Wait," using an Expedition Skill or item, etc.
  • Every turn depletes Fullness and Luminosity. The higher the level of your Corps Crew members, the more Fullness and Luminosity they will consume.
  • When Fullness is at more than 1, HP and MP will be recovered. However, when Fullness reaches 0, your Corps Crew will lose HP for every action performed!
  • Luminosity
    • When Luminosity falls below a certain level, your field of vision will decrease. At 0, visibility will be very limited.
    • Continuing an expedition with low Luminosity makes it more difficult to efficiently explore a dungeon and anticipate the approach of monsters.
