Update Preview: Gameplay Settings and Battle Improvements



Greetings, Captains!

We are bringing good news for you, additional update!
The main focus of the updates are "Gameplay Settings" and "Battle Improvements".

[h3]Gameplay Settings[/h3]
We've had many balance tweaks since our initial release, but we wanted to give you the opportunities to make changes on your own. Why don't you edit MISTOVER as you like?
  • You can turn on or off specific gameplay options such as Doomsday Clock, Revealing map, and controlling all sorts of abnormal statuses/movement.
  • The "Difficulty Score" which shows approximate level of difficulty will be displayed in the upper left corner during your "Expeditions" and "Battles". (Even if you have same Difficulty Score, the difficulty can be differentiated based on your Difficulty level (Easy/Normal/Hard) and options you edited.)

[h3]Battle Improvements[/h3]
We're planning to improve the monster formations and some corps crews' skills so that players can feel more strategic and fast-paced battles.

Monster formations
  • Sometimes there have been issue that in the early phase, monsters located in the third column are hard to hit thus leading to a bit tedious battle.
  • Therefore, we will fix so that monsters would not appear in the third column in the first dungeon, and also the chances of having monsters in the third column will be reduced in other dungeons.
Corps Crew skill improvements
  • Useful effects will be added to some skills that were relatively inefficient.
  • Example 1) Paladin's Provoke: a SPD increas buff will be added in order to give her an opportunity to act after provoking enemies.
  • Example 2) Ronin's Swallow Counter: The chance of being attacked will also increase when Damage Reflection is applied. So, more monsters can take damages.
