[Patch Notes_1.0.3c] Updates

[Patch Notes_1.0.3c] Updates
Balance Fix
  • First crew skills preset: You've all experienced different skill sets with your first crew. Some first skills, mainly buff, debuff skills, might have bored your initial expedition. Now we offer some preset offensive skills so that you can experience dynamic battles from the beginning.
  • Escape: It must be tough for you to run away without using the expedition skills from the monsters after you escape. Now, the monsters won't be chasing you for a couple of turns after you escape from them.
  • Storage/Bag: Journals will not be counted in your Storage and Bag.

[Economy Balance] For the first couple of days after the release, we've closely monitored your economy and found out that current gameplay is consuming more gold than we intended. We understood that this excessive gold use can prevent you from having fun in the early days when most of you aren't unacquainted with our game and we've decided to reduce some of the gold consumption.
  • [Economy] Recruiting new crew
  • [Economy] Evaluating equipment
  • [Economy] Training battle skills
  • [Economy] Modifying Jinxes
  • [Economy] Consumables price changes
Bug Fix
  • 'Power Drink', 'Endurance Drink' effect stacking bug fix
  • Larva Pit (Monster) incorrect description fix
  • In some cases, Blind RES. DECR, Blind RES, INCR icons were incorrectly displayed. It's fixed.

Producer Letter

Hello everyone

I'm James Han, producer for MISTOVER at Aimo Team.

First off, let me thank all of you for being part of MISTOVER's journey. We've been gathering your comments and constructive criticism and they will help us make MISTOVER better and better. We are all passionate about your presence on our communities.

A lot of you asked us about "mouse-support" on our Steam version. I am glad to say that we started developing it, but it might take a couple of months to support all buttons and other control keys while we work on bugs and balance fixes simultaneously. We will do our best to deliver it by December.

Also, we are working on Steam Workshop as well. You will be able to create your own dungeon (=Customizable dungeon).

We're planning to apply following patch soon:

Bug Fix:
  • Not showing a warning message about Doomsday clock penalty when entering the lower level dungeon.
  • Koschei(Monster)'s bug fix
  • Resistance data bug fix
Balance Fix:
  • Adding "Doomsday Clock Indicator" so that players can see their progress during the expedition.
  • Excessive visual effects fix
  • MP regenerate rate fix (While moving in the expedition)
  • Ghost monster re-spawn rate fix

Thank you for your incredible passion and support in MISTOVER, we are all working hard to bring our game to the top with you, for you!

Until then, good luck surviving!

James Han
Producer, MISTOVER

Helpful Tips for Survival!

Greetings Captains,

Are you having fun playing MISTOVER?

Maybe you've already picked up a few tricks and are getting used to the game. But for those of you that are still struggling, we've prepared these helpful tips!

Battles and Growing Your Corps Crew

Sometimes it's impossible to avoid battle while exploring the dungeons, even when you really need to. Making smart decisions at the right time will help you in tough situations like these.
  • Take advantage of your Leader's Expedition Skill: Change your Corps Crew Leader to use different skills that get you out of harm's way, like Shadow Blade's "Hide" and the Witch's "Time Stop." (Remember that your Fullness has to be at a certain level to use an Expedition Skill.)
  • If you can't avoid fighting, always engage first: When monsters run into you and initiate a battle, they get the upper hand. They may be able to attack first, or will break your formation, causing characters to randomly move before the battle begins. Pay close attention to monster movement and pace, using "Wait" if you need to. Try your best to bump into them first!
  • Do you always MISS? Then it's time to level up!: Your character may be too weak. You can strengthen them by not only leveling them up, but by improving their skills at the Training Camp and equipping them with better grade or Fused equipment. (For reference, each charater has basic stats that mean the following)
: Attack power as a range (minimum to maximum).
: Block power as a percentage of how much damage is reflected.
    : Health or HP.
    : MP (or SP/YP).
HIT: Determines accuracy when attacking a target.
CRI: Determines the ability to deal with fatal blows to a target.
EVD: Determines the ability to evade an enemy attack.
GRD: Determines the ability to block an enemy attack and take less damage.
SPD: Determines the order of characters each Turn
  • Revive your dying members during Limbo: When the HP of a Corps Crew member reaches 0 during battle, they will enter Limbo, a state between life and death. Heal as soon as possible, and use SOS to give your turn to another character at random. Your teammates can turn the tides of the battle if they use the right skills!

Doomsday Clock

Are you running out of time before the Doomsday Clock strikes midnight, marking the end of the world? With thorough preparation and successful expeditions, you can turn back time.
  • Explore every nook and cranny of the dungeons: Opening Treasure Chests is important, but so is searching Debris, activating unlit Light Flowers, and defeating monsters. Successfully interacting with as much as possible in the dungeons may make the hands of the Doomsday Clock move backward. If you want to perform well, don't forget to find hiding monsters and chase after the ones that avoid you!
  • Prepare enough Food, Seed, and other consumable items to last longer during expeditions: But be careful not to bring too much, either. Any unused items that you leave the dungeon will be contaminated by the Mist. These "polluted" items may cause negative side effects.
  • The Doomsday Clock is affected by difficulty level: If you are playing on Easy, the Doomsday Clock will move more slowly than if you are playing on Normal or Hard mode.

Don't be afraid to try NEW strategies out!

There isn't a perfect way to play MISTOVER. You can use different gameplay styles and strategies to stay alive. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to enjoy even smoother expeditions into the world of Mist.

The more you play MISTOVER, the more freedom and wisdom you'll gain, and the better you'll become at staying one step ahead!

We hope that the tips we've provided above help first-time players and anyone else having trouble getting through expeditions.
