- Are you planning of adding a random matchmaking system with filters in the future? And is there room to enhance the multiplayer experience? Like when a person disconnects, make it possible to reconnect or when a host disconnects, migrate to another host?


We do not plan to add a matchmaking filter system to the game or to add new functionality to the multiplayer experience. Our roadmap is set at the moment.

- Is there any plans for u to make the player can costumize the skins? i mean like mix them up❤️


No, but we will be adding more cosmetics to further increase the customization of your characters.

- Will Chest Keys ever find use?


Yes, they will have a use at the endgame. You will need to discover the use of the keys there. So keep in touch to future updates to know more about it.

- How will events like Christmas or Halloween work in the future? If I'm correct, you had to do manual updates to the client, but obviously you won't be able to do that all the time.

We are working on a system to make those events to trigger automatically or semiautomatically at the start date of the event.

- Any chance you can fix the unreal client crash reports which eat up memory and cpu usage after an hour?

- I hope inferno isn't plague contracts 2.0 (reusing old content to create the facade of adding endgame content)

The Inferno contract difficulty is still in the design process, and it can change until the release of the feature, so we can’t say much about it at the moment. Keep in touch to future dev-diaries to discover more about it.

- Might wanna have a look at the shop manual refresh as 90% of the time it refresh random stats of the same previous weapon items.

We are aware of this issue, we are working to fix the problem.

- Optimization needs a hard pass (more than likely linked to the unrealclient pop ups that cause memory leaks/heavy cpu load)

We are working on game optimization the best we can, we hope the changes we are doing will fix most of the problems on performance the game has right now.

- Achievements: 39/156 achievement unlocked. 117 of these new ones are broked as I tested; Committed to The Plague - Equip Plague-themed Weapon, Prototype Gear, and Support Gear on a character. All that does is unlock a portrait profile picture.

They were a work in progress, in the last update they were released and are available and working to all players. Take a look at the patch notes on discord or steam to know more about the state of the game.

- Troy's joker weapon doesn't trigger as much as it should. For someone shooting so fast (especially with 40% speed increase) not getting a single proc is weird. A 15% chance should trigger maybe like every 20th shot at most. But instead it feels more like every 100th shot. Compare that to mjolnir from kosmo, his weapon triggers almost every 5th hit when having the same chance but he's also slower. Sounds like a bug to me.

We are aware of the issue, we are working on it right now.

- Thoughts on increasing suppoer/prototype slots? A question of builds but would require a lot harder challenge to support these kind of builds.
- Will we be able to upgrade the vector of our equipment?
- We have Skill preset, can we have gear presets?


Not in the near future. Our roadmap is set for the release and the endgame update. But we will take your suggestions into consideration after we finish the current roadmap.

- Do you plane to add a matchmaking or a in-game friend list to re-find more easily our teammate?

It will not be implemented into the game, but you can check who played with you recently on Steam or even use the join game via a Steam friend.

- Do you plan to add new environments, enemies, weapon effect, etc....after release?

We will give priority to the goals on our current roadmap. After that, it can be possible in the future.

- do you plan to add more cinematic like the intro to extend your universe?


We do not have plans to do so at the moment.

- Can you make an invincibility window when your character gets knocked up? Some enemies can just spam you with hits and you can't stand up and just die :D

As a tease for the release, we’ve made a mechanic to get back into your feet after being knocked down. You will be able to test it at the beta that is coming soon or at the 1.0 release update. We hope you like it.

- Are you going to add a player hub? Where we can go around and buy things, meet people and get missions.

It is not in our plans right now.

- What is about all the resources which are not used yet like radioactive mushrooms, kem-crystals, etc?


We are aware of some resources without a use in the game that were added at the beginning of the early access. We do not have plans to use them to create new content, they might get removed, or you might get a reward in credits. Furthermore, we are still discussing the outcome. Keep in touch to future dev diaries as we will inform you of what will happen to them.


- Will there be another currency like "Jade" in future? Because it's such a precious material with no value in this world.

Not at the moment. Our priority is to complete the goals of the roadmap, what comes in the future is unknown.

- I remember for completing a quest (the skua update) we got a chest, but never received it, will it come and be opened with the keys and if so, you already know what we can expect from its content?

The chest was a reward from a quest at the beginning of the Early access. It contained reputation of faction. We’ve changed how the faction's leveling works. Instead of getting a chest, you get the reputation directly.

- You probably mentioned this already, but what happen with the plague-sided locked contracts?

Unfortunately, they were destroyed by the plague and are not accessible anymore.

- When is the next beta-update and can u tell us more about the fullrelease-date and the major changes that will come with it (e.g. an ingame-store).

Soon there will be an announcement with the date of the next beta branch and the release. We will announce it by Steam and Discord, so stay put to not miss the opportunity.

- Did you consider enabling all the power ups you equip since start of the level so you don't need to level up through the mission since when you made the perk changes is pointless locking em behind unlocks and levels inside the mission.

- In terms of mission variety, do you plan to add any additional mission types to the game over time?

We will focus on our roadmap right now. Unfortunately, adding new quests or maps are not in it. But we will think about that depending on the performance of the game at the release.

- Do you guys have any thoughts on adding a partner character in the single player game mode (like a customized bot of one of the other characters to join you)? I think that would be fun, kinda like a micro party system or the followers from Diablo 3. Thanks!


It is not in our plans right now. If the game perform really well at the release, it is probable that we could do what you suggest.

- Why does Novarama like environmental hazards so much that they even make player character themselves an environmental hazard?
(I've re-installed the game, played few games in "veteran" 60+ range, there were few modifiers which turned player into hazards for others - as in you could not be near/far from another player or you'll both lose health - it was disgusting, the game was uninstalled)


We are sorry you don’t like the environmental hazards, Killsquad is dark and full of terrors, it can be a dangerous place sometimes were you can find many things...

- Different classes of weapons for each hero would be nice,to differ loadouts and add variety.


It is not possible at this moment.

It could be that in the future we add a shared cosmetics between characters. But not in the near future.

- Ekaar, maybe I'm not seeing his potential yet because I've not invested enough time to him but compared to the 4 original classes he just doesn't seem viable right now. Poor rate of fire and range and lacklustre skills. Do you plan on looking at the classes and buffing some that need it ?


Ekaar is a different character, it might need more time to discover its full potential. In any case, we are doing balancing to further improve the game experience with all characters.

- Would you consider allowing the saving of cosmetic layouts with the different skill presets, so a certain set of cosmetics is tied to a player defined preset build?

- Any chance we will see an overhaul of the clunky control scheme in menus when playing with a gamepad?


We’ve tried to increase the experience with a controller in the last update, we might do another iteration in the future. The system will not change, but we will try to make it more comfortable for controller users.

We would like to, but we have more important priorities. When the current roadmap is complete we will think about your suggestion.

- Do you plan to add a player hub city with NPC shops / bounty board?


We do not have plans at the moment.

- Do you plan to add more bad actor characters(to assassinate) nemesis boss system ish (so much could be tied to this in an interesting more interesting way from gear acquisition to skills and materials)

We do not plan to add new enemies or mechanics to them. Maybe in the future.

- Do you plan to add "forge" crafting or up the acquisition by like 10

Another tease for the release. We’ve improved the loot you can get in a contract for the release update, keep an eye on the announcement to know more about it. After that in the endgame update there will be legendary weapons that you will be able to customize your perks.

- Do you play to add evens where big boss with the bois rolls in town and we have to ♥♥♥♥ him up as a community (not a raid, just how much ass whopping the can take) Grinch for xmas

There are no plans to add these kinds of events for killsquad.

- Do you plan to link skill pages to equipment pages so that when I switch from one page skill to another, my equipment follow?

It is not in our plans at the moment.

- Do you plan to add clans?

It is not in our roadmap.


Do you plan to add solo/duo/etc./clans ladders? (like a scoring, ranking kind of stuff)

Not at the current roadmap. But we might think about after the release. Depending on how killsquad perform.

- Extra question from me: Can we have a possibility to select our entrance animation?
Like i love troy's entrance when he appears behind a big spinning card. I would love if he did this all the time.
