Killsquad 0.6.2 Patch Notes:

New Features:

- Added in-game and lobby chat system ( work in progress ), can be opened with the enter key.
It is not a global chat, its a lobby and game chat for your squad.

- Added option to rebind controls on the settings menu

- Gear now shows if it is equiped on another hero so it can not be dismantled until unequiped

Bug Fixes:

- Fixed SteamVR launching when game is started

- Fixed resurrected players not being invulnerable on end of contract

- Limited initial graphic settings on first launch to 1080p to avoid problems ( can be changed on display settings)

- Fixed ranged federal police getting blocked when pushed against the area limit

- Fixed audio settings reseting after each contract

- Fixed Troy being unable to perform skills and only walk on some circumstances

- Fixed Kosmo's Anvil armor upgrade not being shown in the lobby stats

- Fixed client character being unable to move after sometimes receiving a double knockback

- Chests can now be dashed through to prevent blocking players

- Fixed chests spawning inside players

- Fixed num resurrections not being shown on the statistics panel

Killsquad is out in China, with full Chinese translation. We hope you like it a lot. Translation was done by a Chinese company. If you detect any errors on the translation:

Killsquad comes with full Korean and Japanese translation during next week. These two translations are taking a bit longer, so:

- Fixed game language being set to the windows locale instead of steam language

- Fixed Chinese localization not being correctly loaded into the game

- Added language tab on steam game properties to select the game language

- Fixed dismantle sound bug (this time maybe for real)

- Fixed a bug where the game could freeze on some chunks of the levels

- Fixed a bug where players could fall through the map in one of the chunks of Wasteland

- Fixed a bug where Cass can be stuck outside of the map in one of the chunks of Wasteland due to an enemy spawning outside of walkable floor

We love game universes. The way they evolve, the way they grow, the shared journey with your audience. We live by Tolkien, by Asimov, by Lovecraft, by GRR Martin. When we see games like Path of Exile or Fallout we feel, that’s the way to go! When we see Eve Online, we feel “that’s a masterpiece”

Killsquad is our tribute to that. We dream of a day where you have dozens of Killsquad heroes, and many planets to explore. But, as Tolkien himself would say “Little by little, one can travel very far”. So, today, we are happy to reveal our vision for the next 6 months. The season 1 of Killsquad, which has the theme of REVELATION. REVELATION will present the actors of the Killsquad universe: the factions, their agendas, and how do we, the Killsquad, work to get what we want.

A few disclaimers before getting all excited about the Plague and the Federation. You guys know we like to be 100% transparent, both when we get it right and we get it wrong. So here’s a couple warnings:

• There’s an overall task, bug fixing / general improvements, not listed here. But of course that’s ongoing and you’ll get updates frequently.
  
• We will drop new contracts during development, they are not part of these major updates.
  
• This is a development plan. Things may change. New features may take priority. If that happens, we’ll keep you posted on our progress. Best is to be around our Discord, that’s where the magic happens.
