Test Branch Patch #5

Hello Everyone,

Currently, there are some performance issues in various sectors. Starting with Patch #6, I will begin implementing optimizations to address these concerns. I think there will be two or three more patches before updating to the default branch.

Bug Fixes
  • re-logic when player exits a vehicle.
  • Fixed : Items no longer remain attached to the pickup truck after being removed.
  • Fixed : Item collision at the back of pickup trucks to prevent any issues between the truck and items.
  • Fixed : Items placed in the back of the pickup truck will now secure properly and cease movement.
  • Fixed : The vehicle dashboard UI now displays correctly while in third-person mode.
  • Fixed : Items attached to the truck now correctly follow the vehicle when using a car jack to reposition it.
  • Improved vehicle spawning upon game load to prevent physics-related bugs.
  • Fixed : Resolved an issue where items would fall through the truck bed when dropped.
  • Fixed : Items and objects now properly attach to Caravan, Trailer
  • Fixed : Items attached to the caravan, trailer now correctly follow the vehicle when using a car jack to reposition it.
  • Updated : Revamped the caravan towing mechanics, transitioning from a physics constraint-based system to a manual rotation approach, utilizing surface following through line tracing.

  • * Known Issue: There are occasional instances where the caravan may appear in an unusual position after being towed. Entering the car will resolve this issue and return the caravan to its proper position.

  • Fixed : FOV now function correctly when using gun sights or iron sights for aiming.
  • Chicken Refactor (You can spawn them from the debug menu)
  • Fixed : Resolved issues with chicken and coop interactions.
  • Fixed : Chickens no longer disappear after loading a game.
  • Fixed : Resolved issues with The Bloat's behavior and audio while it is taking burning damage.
  • Fixed : Grenades and Molotov cocktails no longer push The Bloat upon impact.
  • Fixed : Destructible objects, such as empty bottles and Molotov cocktails, now break as intended upon impact.
  • Fixed : Status bar not update (wetness, heat).
  • Fixed : Mouse sensitivity option is now functioning properly.
  • Fixed : Mouse Invert Y option is now functioning properly.
  • Fixed : Explosive items, such as Propane Tanks and Barrels, can now be saved successfully

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where the camera rotation would lock after climbing a ladder.
  • Fixed a UI collision issue when entering Tuning and Parts Unlock modes.
  • Fixed an Invisible Terrain.
  • Updated the towing logic for connecting the caravan to the pickup truck.
  • Fixed : Eexplosive arrows and rocket launchers didn't cause damage to propane tanks and barrels.
  • Fixed : Infected can now hear gun sounds.

  • Decorative items, like animal heads or paintings, can now be attached to walls or any other objects (including dynamic object like vehicle, or even wheel).

Heres the link for video mockup about Sector 9 Underground mission. This area is the epicenter of the main storyline and missions. Once yuou successfully complete these missions, you'll unlock the ability to hop aboard the Transport Speed Train for lightning-fast travel across the entire map.

Test Branch Patch #3

Hello Everyone,
I apologize for the delayed update. I recently took a week off and used that time to identify and address issues that arose after migrating the project to UE5.3. During this process, I discovered a problem with the landscape shader that I haven't resolved yet. The issue occurs when you set Global Illumination Quality to medium or low; the Zone0 landscape shader becomes invisible (though the mesh is still present, the shader isn't visible). i will provide a fix in the next patch.

For a workaround, you can follow these settings:
  • Global Illumination Quality: High
  • Anti-Aliasing Method: TSR
  • Feel free to adjust the Resolution Scale as needed (With TSR, you can reduce the resolution scale to approximately 60~70 without significant loss in visual quality).

And for the new playable zone, mutants, and new buildings, these will be implemented in #4 Patch. Subsequently, #5 Patch will primarily focus on bug fixes and performance.

Bug Fixes
  • Molotov now properly deals damage to the new bandit and infected characters.
  • Can't pickup some props. (pile of rags, hose etc)
  • Lockers turn to the letter 'O' when carried
  • Fixed: Bandits were not receiving damage from the flamethrower.
  • Fixed: Seeker Nest were not receiving damage from the flamethrower.


Feature, Implementation
  • Project migration to Unreal Engine version 5.3
  • Added: Eating animation for the chocolate bar
  • Added: New Item Energy Drink ()
  • Added: A new Buff System. You can now view active buffs through the icon located in the bottom left corner. The first addition to this system is the 'Endurance Infusion' buff, which is obtained by consuming an Energy drink.
  • Vehicle Tuning Rework: To customize your vehicle, visit the survival camp near Kimiko Camp. In the garage, you will find two Placeholder NPCs: the Part Vendor and the Vehicle Upgrade Mechanic.

    Before upgrading or tuning your car, you must first unlock vehicle parts from the Part Vendor. Additionally, you can enhance your trailer by towing it to your car before parking in the designated yellow marker area.

    Other tuning parts will be implemented in the future, which will include a turret system refactor.

Hello everyone.
Please checkout patch note below.

For this patch, you'll need to download approximately 16GB. The previous version was compressed, which would have caused issues with upcoming patches, requiring large downloads for each update. Therefore, I've reverted to the uncompressed version as used previously

** Many sound effects are currently in development and will be added in the future.

Bug Fixes
  • Container not display (Military Outpost Near WhiteHouse)
  • Quit Menu.
  • Camera lock after filling gas.
  • Vehicle LOD Issue (Interior FPS View)
  • Infected still produce sounds even after they are dead.
  • Flashlight too bright.

Progression, new feature added, Changed
  • Vehicle UI
  • New Playable area (Sec 10, There is about 10-15% left to do, which will be completed in the next patch.)
  • Remove Stump And Saw Machine from craft list. New Saw Machine model and mechanics will be replaced in the next patch.
  • New Electrical Appliance Mehcanics : Added 3 New Lamps, which can be found in Sec 10. (Will be more)
  • New Electrical Mehcanics : Electrical Socket Mechanics. (Electrical appliances will function when placed within the range of an electrical socket. You can check the available area by pressing 'E' at the socket. Pressing 'E' again will hide the area indicator.)
  • *This will be available only in the White House for now.
  • Add Capture Mission (Experiment) : When you arrive at the small bandit camp, a flag will appear. The mission is to eliminate all bandits in this camp. Completing the mission by raising the flag will prevent bandits from spawning in this camp.

  • * Please note that this action will not be saved; the mission will reset when you load the game.
  • Add horde spawn system button in dev UI. (You can try it. while in rainy or mist event. Theye will spawn on the road between bandit camp and whitehouse)
  • *Please remember, this is a test system. It is recommended to save before testing.
