Mist Survival - Development Roadmap

Hello everyone,

Heres the latest updated roadmap (0.3.x - 0.4.x)

Basic System
  • Bug fix!
  • Save slot


Gameplay Mechanics
  • Character abilities : Players can unlock additional abilities such as
    • Hunting skill : unlock by collect survival book [Effect : player will able to harvest more hidden materials from animals body].
    • Strength : Frequently cutting wood or using melee weapons [Effect : Attack speed increase]
  • Farming and livestock improvement
  • Add FPS Legs
  • Gun Customize
  • Cars improvement
  • More vehicles
  • Garage and vehicles customize
  • Quick time event (Infected can catch you)
  • Fishing
  • Map and marker (not a real time mini map)


AI
  • Re-Create infected stage 2, Both concept and 3D model
  • Survivors NPC Improvement : more interactive choice, behavior improvement, New Models and animations
  • Infected Tank


Quest

There will be side quest, mini quest that you can received from NPC or dynamic event. (few quest for experimentation)

Puzzle

There will be puzzle in the game, such as
  • Find the password to unlock the door,
  • Fuse box quest


World event
  • Bandits raid
  • Infected horde raid (experimental, actually this feature need some more defensive stuff first)
  • Dynamic loots point event, Such as car crash point (other survivors)


Map, level, and visual upgrade
  • New mine level design
  • Abandon school
  • New town level design, and building models
  • New house models
  • Secret lab
  • New Region : Actually, this is part of the main mission. you have to complete it before you can travel to this area. This will be added for test and experimentation first.

Hotfix : 0.3.6

0.3.6 :

Bug fixed
  • Can't pickup arrows, spear from infected or bandits body
  • Some floating objects near mine entrance
  • Bear Head collision through wall, doors
  • Tents collision fixed
  • Can't water the plants (Generator bound blocked)
  • Ammo, Equipment, Weapon type are not spawn in Military Crate type
  • Bandits, Animals, infected and some interior not spawn after loaded
  • Take down stage 1 infected freeze


Changed
  • Electric doors at the motel are now closed, There will be mini quest, puzzle before you can get in and explore. (blue doors)
  • White house interior : This patch will force spawn interior inside white house this may overlap some items that you created. you can use an Axe to destroy them if you want (This only affect to player who save the game before 0.3.6 )
  • Add breakable ability to playground objects near Whitehouse
  • add 3 more mining points


Changed 2
  • Force respawn loots for all military crate type : This only affect to players who save the game before 0.3.6. Crate will be respawn too, and they will overlap each other. You can move them and collect the loots or just destroy the old one by Axe.

0.3.1 : can't load locker (fixed)

0.3.2 : saving stuck at purple state

0.3.3 : Missing door, Cant use Crowbar, items and gas (inside car) disappear
after load (Need restart if you save after items disappear)

0.3.4 :

    Bug Fixed
  • Interior disappear after loading the game
  • Shovel can be craft from blacksmith place
  • Hammer can craft without materials needed
  • Hammer not found when repairing the window.
  • Cabin craft time 0
  • Pickup truck can't carry stuff.
  • Infected body still has sound even it is dead.

  • Add more chicken spawn point
  • Passing time 50% faster

New Version Update 0.3.0

Hello guys,

First.. This is my new official account :) and its still me 'Rati'.

And This new version update need a fresh restart.

i'll update more information about this patch and new phase 2 road map in 4-5 hour. for now this is new content list for 0.3.0

  • New landscape and level design improvements (Including a new location – Sawmill)


CHARACTER AND AI
  • New Rachel 3D model
  • New Infected type: Stage 1 infected (takes damages while outside in the light and is also afraid of fire)
  • New animal: Deer

    Crops and farming
  • Crop furrow: allows you to plant crops in a row
  • Clay pot: low water capacity, can be used to water 1 plant
  • Fabric pot: medium water capacity, can be used to water 1 plant
  • Garden table: can house 6 plants total, able to be moved by the player
  • Garden box: can house up to 9 plans, cannot be moved once crops are planted in it

Hello guys,

I have to postpone the update (0.3.0) for about 1 month. 0.3.0 version will be released on 7th August. After 0.3.0 update, Work will be easier and faster. Sorry to keep you guys waiting more a little bit.

Some melee weapon animations has been changed and you can now able to carry Crowbar as a weapon.

Hello guys,

I do apologize for not update for a while. Me and my new team are working hard for the upcoming big patch 0.3.0 Version. If everything goes planned I will update this verison within 'June'

Actually, i planed for minor update before the big path too, but after re-create many core systems, animations and new 3D rigged. it may cause more issue if i try to update the 0.2.x version. So, i decided to not update it. Sorry about that, and I understand if you guys are not satisfied.

About the progress update, this is only some part of the whole system.
