Bug Fixes

  • Fixed: Unable to carry animal carcasses.
  • Fixed: Unable to interact with the quest board at Rick Camp.
  • Fixed: Quest board not displaying. (DevTestBranch).
  • Fixed: Car body duplicates when activating the carjack and pressing 'E' again.
  • Fixed: Turret blocks the camera when switching to top view while driving the SUV with an attached turret. (DevTestBranch).
  • Fixed: Suicide option not functioning.
  • Fixed: Some loot spawns cannot be targeted or picked up.
  • Fixed: Seeker at the church still spawning even after destroying the nest.
  • Fixed: infected corpses sliding or moving while burning.

  • Fixed: Melee weapon upgrade bug. Items would disappear when upgraded. Now filtered for available weapons—currently limited to the baseball bat.
  • Fixed: Rick's Camp mission resets. This occurred when all bandits were killed, but the flag was not raised, and the area was saved or left before returning.
  • Fixed: Loading a save inside a treehouse caused the "E" key to not initiate climbing down.

DevTestBranch Version Update : 0.6.2.1-devtest 1

Hello, everyone,

Since there are still a lot of tasks in progress—such as animations, sound effects, and visual effects—I’ve decided to update this version on the DevTestBranch first.

The first release (0.6.2.1-devtest 1) is still very rough, so you may want to wait for a couple more patches if you’re looking for a more stable experience.

Some NPCs and locations still need additional work. For example, the Cannibal enemies currently lack sound effects, and you will only encounter melee types. The ranged enemies (sniper and bow users) will be added in future patches.

** For the red mist, I have temporarily removed it. Once the visual effects are completed, I’ll add it back into the game.

** And please make sure to back up your save files before testing.

And, here’s a list of the available features in the TestBranch:

This new caravan/trailer can be found in the Zone 1 town



[h3]2. SUV Turret System.[/h3]
You can unlock the turret customization system by completing Jiyeon's quest. Visit Carol Camp to find Jiyeon after defeating the Tank. To unlock the turret, you'll need to complete two quests from the Carol Camp Questboard: Part Gathering 1 and 2. After completing those tasks, Jiyeon will appear at her own garage.

[h3]6. Functional Mini Boss - Seeder[/h3]
The Seeder is mostly functional, but it may still get stuck at certain buildings or its own spawn point. I’m currently replacing its animations with all root motion due to its size. Using navmesh like other NPCs makes it look weird and hard to control.

And you can still check it out in its current state. To uncloak the Seeder, use an RPG or explosive arrows—it takes 2 RPG hits to expose it.



[h3]7. Two New Questboard Types: Hunting quests and Supply Questsr[/h3]
  • Hunting Quests : These quests can be received from the butcher at Rick Camp. You’ll need to hunt specific animals as requested and bring their carcasses back to the butcher’s table.

  • Supply Quests : Complete tasks such as chopping down trees, collecting logs, and storing them to fulfill NPC requests for rebuilding their camps. These quests focus on gathering essential resources to help support the community.

Co-Op mode is now playable in the real world Zone0, specifically in Section 1 (The White House and surrounding areas). Currently, the focus is on refining this sector and implementing all necessary functions and systems for this area. A Co-Op Devlogs video will be included in the next patch notes update.

0.6.2.1 Patch Preview

Hello everyone,

I apologize for the delay, but I need one more week to finalize the new quests and dialogue for patch 0.6.2.1.

And here are some of the features that will be added in 0.6.2.1

  • New Caravan/Trailer

  • More Quests: Expanded quest board with additional side quests.

  • New Allies NPC Quest - Jiyeon: Jiyeon will live at Carol's Camp in her own DIY garage. You can interact with her after you unlock or clear some quests to access her main quest line.

  • The First Cannibal Base at the Radio Station: You can discover clues and artifacts that reveal more of the main storyline and unlock a hidden cave to explore.

  • New Enemies - Cannibal Gang

Progress Update

Hello everyone,

I need to postpone the Seeder update for a bit. I'm currently considering reworking and reintroducing the customizable turret for the SUV first, as it will be crucial for combatting this new threat. The turret rework is complete, but I plan to release it alongside other content, including the Seeder and Cannibal Gang updates.

Additionally, the Radio Station in Zone1 will undergo some changes. It will become a base for the Cannibal Gang, as mentioned in dialogues by Scott and James.

There will be new quests added to the quest board and more NPC storyline quests. This includes a new Hotel Quest that will reward you with a key card to access all hotel rooms. And there will be 3 new NPCs added in the patch.->

Version 0.6.2.1 will be live on October 5th.

  • [ Cannibal Boss ] : The Butcher (First Born of a triplet set controlling their three bases). The Butcher, similar to "Tank" and "Berserker," is part of an E.V.H and has a unique storyline that explains how this Cannibal gang can control Infected and all Mutant types.

Co-Op Progress Update:

Over the past week, I've been focused on preparing Zone0 for the Co-Op project by cleaning and transferring the map. Soon, I will start testing the Co-Op mode on the actual map.

The first launch of Co-Op mode will be a private test, requiring beta keys for access. I will keep you all informed and let you know when it's ready for testing.
