0.6.2.1 Patch Preview

Hello everyone,

I apologize for the delay, but I need one more week to finalize the new quests and dialogue for patch 0.6.2.1.

And here are some of the features that will be added in 0.6.2.1

  • New Caravan/Trailer

  • More Quests: Expanded quest board with additional side quests.

  • New Allies NPC Quest - Jiyeon: Jiyeon will live at Carol's Camp in her own DIY garage. You can interact with her after you unlock or clear some quests to access her main quest line.

  • The First Cannibal Base at the Radio Station: You can discover clues and artifacts that reveal more of the main storyline and unlock a hidden cave to explore.

  • New Enemies - Cannibal Gang

Progress Update

Hello everyone,

I need to postpone the Seeder update for a bit. I'm currently considering reworking and reintroducing the customizable turret for the SUV first, as it will be crucial for combatting this new threat. The turret rework is complete, but I plan to release it alongside other content, including the Seeder and Cannibal Gang updates.

Additionally, the Radio Station in Zone1 will undergo some changes. It will become a base for the Cannibal Gang, as mentioned in dialogues by Scott and James.

There will be new quests added to the quest board and more NPC storyline quests. This includes a new Hotel Quest that will reward you with a key card to access all hotel rooms. And there will be 3 new NPCs added in the patch.->

Version 0.6.2.1 will be live on October 5th.

  • [ Allies NPC ] : Jiyeon
  • [ Cannibal Boss ] : The Butcher (First Born of a triplet set controlling their three bases). The Butcher, similar to "Tank" and "Berserker," is part of an E.V.H and has a unique storyline that explains how this Cannibal gang can control Infected and all Mutant types.

Co-Op Progress Update:

Over the past week, I've been focused on preparing Zone0 for the Co-Op project by cleaning and transferring the map. Soon, I will start testing the Co-Op mode on the actual map.

The first launch of Co-Op mode will be a private test, requiring beta keys for access. I will keep you all informed and let you know when it's ready for testing.

0.6.2.0.3 Hotfixes Patch

  • Fixed : NPC items and buildings not saving properly.
  • Fixed : Energy Cell interaction issues when returning to it from a distance.
  • Fixed : Ladder bug on Caravan Roof Rack.
  • Fixed : Crossbow disappearing after crafting and not being retrievable.
  • Fixed : Crossbow Crafting UI bug, preventing interaction and inventory display during crafting.
  • Fixed : HUD and crosshair disappearing after closing NPC dialogue.
  • Fixed : Crafting issue with lashing not requiring any materials.
  • Fixed : Quest manager now automatically tracks the latest active quest to resolve multiple quest receipt bugs.
  • Fixed : James Quest reset to gas station sequence upon failure or player death, ensuring continuity.
  • Fixed : Quest tracking and untracking option bugs.
  • Fixed : Scott Quest not being marked as complete.
  • Fixed : Scott’s behavior issues when chasing a bandit without a weapon.
  • Fixed : Quest collision between Scott and James; completing Scott’s Quest first then accepting James Quest' causes Scott to disappear.
  • Fixed : Issues when pressing 'Tab' or any cancel button during gear upgrades.
  • Fixed : Vehicle gas tank filling issues.
  • Fixed : Dog unable to mark and attack targets.
  • Fixed : Some Floating props and issues with wooden floor collisions.
  • Fixed : Camp Carol building lacking collision.


** Scott's Weapon Limitation: Scott can now only use the M4A1, G17, and Machete. More weapons will be made available for him in future updates.

0.6.2.0.2 Hotfixes Patch

  • Fixed: Rick disappears after loading the game (occurs once the Rick Camp Quest is completed and the game is saved then loaded).
  • Fixed: Compass repair bug.
  • Fixed: Compass Quest not consuming materials.
  • Fixed: Compass Quest UI mismatch; when receiving a reward, it should now display "Added to your collectables."
  • Fixed: Pressing ESC while in the weapon upgrade menu bug (stuck and can't exit).
  • Fixed: Lost items during weapon upgrades.
  • Fixed: Issue in James' Basement Quest where James gets stuck after killing The Bloat, preventing completion of the task.
  • Fixed: Generator fuel : save refactor to address saving issues.

0.6.2.0.1 Hotfixes Patch

  • Fixed : Zone 1 landscapee not render
  • Fixed: Issue where players couldn't take down bandits wearing armor.
  • Fixed: Collectable items not saving correctly.
  • Fixed: Energy cells not saving in the laboratory.
  • Fixed: Key cards not working (school key card, medical access keycard).


I am continuing to work on addressing bugs, and the next set of hotfixes will include solutions for the generator issues, disappearing dogs, the dog saving system, and the bug related to fuel refill in vehicles, among other improvements.

Additionally, the Seeder will be ready in the next main patch, 0.6.2.1, which I anticipate releasing next week.
