AI and The Philosophy of Madness
[p]Depending on what we decide to do with AI... The future will be insane. Possibly pure evil. [/p][p][/p][p] I took a class called The Philosophy of Madness taught by an amazing professor named Lynn Stephens. We debated :[/p]
How do you even know your own mind anymore?
In a future where big companies build self-replicating AI universes—one custom “Matrix” per user—will we still be able to tell reality from fiction?[/p][p]This isn’t just a sci-fi concept in The Hive Pandemic. It’s happening. Slowly. Quietly.[/p][p]AI isn’t just coming for artists. It’s coming for:[/p]
We can resist the consolidation of power. We can demand democracy in our workplaces, our tools, and our art. We don’t have to accept an aristocracy disguised as a tech utopia.[/p][p]The world of The Hive Pandemic is a warning, not a roadmap.
Let’s make sure it stays fiction.[/p][p]With love and hope,

Heavy Drinking: The Myth of Alcoholism as a Disease
[p]by Herbert Fingarette[/p][p][/p][p] And another book about schizophrenia... I did really well in that class at arguing with and against those authors - against those diseases. We were allowed to choose to argue for or against but had to make a unique claim or observation if using the authors argument. After arguing against alcoholics having a disease I became one... There are times now in my life when I wonder if this really is a Matrix. Especially after I made X-Corp and then suddenly another X Corp. *Now the truth is most likely that we have a lot of people in this world, The Real X Corp is the brainchild of someone who obviously loves the name X and I do mean that with the upmost Kindness and Sincerity. My boys are my world. PDA makes me get in my head a lot and can lead to Schizoaffective Disorder, which my mother and I believe my older brother has.[/p][p][/p][p]How do you know your own mind and will you be able to tell reality from fiction when large companies create self replicating universes designed for each user? [/p][p][/p][p]AI is not coming for artist alone... It's coming for everyone in the game space, movie space (talking about Indies, now Hollywood you have enough money... share a little and hire outside more and more, outside your family, race, friend group and so on), programing space and so on. If they build one Matrix per company that will be insane and that is only looking at the us.[/p][p][/p][p]The Hive pandemic has pods that are these type of universes perpetually building worlds for the user.[/p][p][/p][p]Read your terms of service on all social media, and any company that is tied to a company with AI. Also I shouldn't name anything on here personally but there are terms of service for specific sites that used to be artist and musician friendly and now they are using your work for training AI. Everyone it seams is giving into the money. [/p][p][/p][p]You guys are loved... I hope The Hive Pandemic world does not become a reality. Cities are owned by the ultra wealthy, and people never leave their AI-pods. [/p][p][/p][p]There is always the chance that we try and push back against consolidation of power in all forms. We can start fighting for true democracy throughout our lives and stop settling for aristocratic rule in the workplace.
