The World of Bistun part 2: Fighting

Hi Guys, today we’d like to tell you more about fighting mechanics in our game.
In previous entry we’ve shown you enemies which you’ll encounter, now it’s time to present you weapons and offensive skills that Farhad can use to fight them off.

Our hero can:

Sprint:

Roll under obstacles:

Roll during combat to evade:

Walk over the ledges:

Slide on some special surfaces:

Farhad can use three types of weapons, all inspired by tools that stone carvers utilize to form their crafts. Lets take a look at it:

Hatchets: Farhad’s signature weapon, dual-wield, medium attack speed and damage.

Pickaxe: a gift from the temple of a goddess. Pickaxe has fast attack speed and does medium damage.

Sledgehammer: the mighty sledgehammer is a mythical weapon that requires spectacular wood for its handle and should be forged from a dying memory. It has slow attack speed, but deals devastating damage.

Each weapon brings one special active ability with itself:

The Hatchets can be thrown in the mid-range distance and return back to Farhad, damaging all the enemies in a specified cone.

The Pickaxe is not an ordinary weapon, but a holy one that summons the spirit of a goddess to attack enemies in a circle around Farhad.

Sledgehammer allows the player to hit the ground so hard, that several peaks come out of it in a line ahead and damage all enemies in its path.
