Nanotale 1.0 - Out Now

It is with great pleasure that we announce the completion of the Early Access development of our new typing adventure, Nanotale, and officially launch the v1.0 of the game! Whether you've been with us all through Early Access or just now delving in, we hope you have a wonderful time exploring everything the fantasy world of Nanotale has to offer. ːnanofoxː

Returning players will find that our v1.0 Launch Update is brimming with exciting new additions and improvements, including opening and ending cinematics, a whole new biome, voice overs, new characters to meet, new magics to master, Achievements, and more. ːgreenjasperː

  • Desert east access can't be opened when going from the Forest

  • Lore image missing from the encyclopedia
  • Rosalind's hit sound repeats in loop
  • Lore items from the prologue are not displayed on the map anymore

  • Movement tutorial shows "ESDF" controls when using DVORAK layout

  • Enemies have "noword" or no words displayed above them in battle





To accompany our v1.0 Launch, we're pleased to release the complete Original Soundtrack, featuring 15 tracks of stunning music created for the game by Narrative Noise. ːgarnieː

We are still waiting for the validation from Steam, so the soundtrack is not available right now. But it should be within maximum 2 days.





To celebrate the release of our second typing game, Steam allowed us (during two weeks) to offer our first typing game, Epistory, to all the people who own Nanotale. Players who already own Epistory will be granted with an extra copy of it they can gift to anyone. ːgummiesː





This is not the last time you hear from us! Releasing Nanotale V1.0 doesn't mean that we will disappear and stop communicating with you Fox Riders. We'll be monitoring this launch closely to ensure it's as problem-free as possible for all players. So, don't hesitate to tell us if you encounter any issues. Once we're sure things are in a good spot, our small team will be taking a break to recharge, and plan what's next ːsleepysheepː. We can't wait to start a new fresh production and share it with you.

Nanotale is slated to leave Early Access on March 31st!

Hi Fox Riders,

We are super happy to announce you that the game will be out in two weeks! The release is planned for March 31st 2021.

We have listened to the community in the Early Access and are now proud to release the full version with improved performance, breathtaking cinematics and voice-overs, and new powers and biome to discover!

Also, I'd like to remind you that the price will change to $19.99 at release, so don't hesitate to get it now if you were still hesitating.

Weekly Update #92: New logo and 53 bugs left

Hi Fox Riders,

I caught a cold and I auto-quarantine myself. But we are not here to talk about me, right?

We have a new logo! The game is feature complete, which means that everything we add now is part of the "nice to have" list (I think I already said that earlier ːepiwtfː). So, we are continuing to work on that magical list. The logo was part of that list, since the previous one was not super visible on small format. Here's the new one and the new animation for it ːepiloveː





[h3]About the BETA[/h3]

The closed BETA of the desert is going well. The BETA testers reported less bugs than expected. So, we have now a total of 53 bugs to fix for release. These bugs will be the main focus during the coming weeks.

[h3]Next step[/h3]

As I told you before, the game release as been delayed a lot due to the fact that we have to release the Steam version at the same time as the STADIA version. The good news is that the STADIA version is going well. I am now waiting for the ratings (USK, ESRB, and PEGI) to come back to us. We are getting closer to that release, don't we?

This week we'll also work on adding the localized achievements, badges, emotes, and cards to Steam, so you will soon be able to use them.

Weekly Update #90: Menu and close BETA update

Hello Fox Riders,

Here's an update of the list of tasks that need to be done for the closed BETA of the desert:

  • Sound design on ending cinematic (because we can't let you finish the game without a nice ending).
  • Update save file system to make sure that your saves will work with the improvements made on the previous biomes.
  • Get the Chinese translation from our published and integrate it.
  • Some bug fixes and tweaks.




A side task, that is more for the final release of the game, was to improve to menu according to your feedback. Now, you can find a list of the updates and knowledges your unlock in the game.
