Content Update #2 Postponed - New Early Access Roadmap



Greetings Brothers!

We come once again with some news! The second content update that was postponed last week and was planned to be released today will be again postponed, this time to Thursday September 3rd! It turns out that this is a much bigger update than what we initially thought, so our team needs a bit more time to prepare and test the content properly so we deliver you a smooth and fully functioning build – unfortunately COVID-19 seems to be affecting everyone, including the Brotherhood!

We have also decided to change the content of the second update and also merge the third content update with the full release, so we will have enough time to implement and test all the features properly.

You can find all the information in the updated Early Access roadmap below. We hope that you understand our decision and we are looking forward to seeing your feedback in our forums!

Content Update #2 Postponed until 13th of August



Greetings brethren!

Today I come before you as a bearer of bad news - It seems that we have misinterpreted the signs given to us and thus miscalculated the date of the next turning point in history. After some new calculations and measurements we have come to conclusion that the next Content Update will be released on 13th of August, 2020 AD.

We hope that you understand and can excuse this short delay, but we would much rather present you with fully functioning update, without any significant technical issues, than to be on time, but with a game that is riddled with bugs. Rest assured that the person responsible for this false prophecy has been severely punished.

Update 0.9.16.74 is live NOW!



As the wheel of history keeps turning, it is once again time for us to reveal another part of our plan. Since the world around us is such a dark and confusing place, we decided that someone has to do something about it and bring some order into this ever-changing world.

The latest update for Secret Government brings numerous smaller and bigger bugfixes, AI and localization updates as well as some redesigns of our UI. Yet again we would like to thank all of our followers who help us make the game the best it can be, by posting feedback and bug reports into our Steam forums - you are the true prophets who change the course of history! Thank you!

Just as was foretold in the ancient scrolls, today is the day when the first part of our grand scheme comes together and your patience is rewarded. Rejoice brothers - the day of the content update has come!
The Content Update #1 brings new save system, new quests, improved economy and trade overview, plethora of UX improvements and of course numerous bugfixes.

The next content update is currently planned for 6th of August so mark that day in your Anno Lucis calendar!

Once again we would like to thank our entire community for providing us with feedback in the Steam discussions, where you let us know what do you like or dislike about our game. Your words mean a lot to us and they help us create the best game possible.

For the past week we have been working in the shadows, studying the writings of Nostradamus and reading through your forum posts to improve the game and make it easier for you to change the course of history. We would like to thank you very much for this help with development of the game and would like to ask you to keep up this good work - it helps us immensely when it comes to fixing and balancing the game to your liking.
