Added brand-new stream cameras for streaming and recording.
(Left: Global Stream Camera / Right: Local Stream Camera)
  • Added [Global Stream Camera] and [Local Stream Camera] under the [Camera] menu in the ring menu.
  • Global Stream Camera can only be spawned by the owner or the admin of the room you are in.
    • A single Global Stream Camera can exist in a room. The video taken with this streaming camera will be shared with all users.
  • Local Stream Camera is a streaming camera that can be spawned by anyone who has linked their THE SEED ONLINE account with VirtualCast.
    • Room's owner and admin can also spawn a Local Stream Camera when they haven't spawned Global Stream Camera already.
    • Local Stream Camera can be activated in the local environment, allowing you to switch the streaming video in your environment without affecting others.
How to Use the Stream Cameras
  • For detail on how to use Stream Cameras, see the wiki (Japanese).
  • Each stream camera can be activated by clicking the USE button shortly.
    • A Stream Camera that is active will have its tally lamps at the top of the camera and the finder and the rings at the bottom lit.
    • The video rendered on the monitor camera and the desktop window is the video taken from the active Stream Camera.
  • You can click shortly on the monitor camera to activate it.
  • Holding the USE button while grabbing a Stream Camera will make it go into Parallel Movement mode. Releasing the USE button will disengage the mode.
  • Choosing [Parallel Movement] in the context menu will keep the Stream Camera in the Parallel Movement mode. In this mode, the pitch (X-axis) and roll (Z-axis) of the Stream Camera will be fixed to 0.
    • The selection of the Parallel Movement mode is not synced across users and is not saved to the room.
  • You can zoom with the Stream Camera by grabbing it with both hands and pulling out and in.
  • When there are more than one Stream Cameras in a room, the room will get a [On Air] badge on their icon in the list of rooms. For details, see the wiki(Japanese).
