[Beta] Ver 2.2.6a Photo VCI be productized immediately

  • To reduce the load, an animation GIF set on a room's thumbnail will no longer animate on the link objects in rooms.
  • When you select "Create VCI" for a photo in the ring menu's media, the VCI will be spawned as a free product in an unlisted state.
    • You can now hand over a photo you've taken by just creating a VCI for it and letting others acquire the VCI.

  • The attract operation in rooms has been changed to "the menu button hold laser + Grab."
    • The laser you get by just pointing the hand is now disabled.
    • It's the same operation as the one in the studios.
  • Changed the texture of the "Reload" button in room's context menu.
  • Now, the VCI reload can be done only by the person who spawned the VCI in the room.

  • Fixed the issue where the capture process of a VCI which utilizes the camera API fails when the person who spawned the VCI is absent in the room.

  • Removed Komachi Machine and Knight Shogun from the preset avatar.
  • Changed the operation and the behavior of the item attraction.
    • Regardless of the controller types, you can now attract items with the "hand laser + grab" action.
    • An item will immediately be drawn to your hand on the attract operation and turns into the grabbed state.
    • This change is planned to be applied to the rooms as well, making the operations uniform in both room and studio.

  • You can now reload the latest version of VCIs from "My Items" in the ring menu and the context menu.
    • For details on the specification regarding the save system in Rooms, refer to this article(Japanese).
  • Nameplates will be shown on top of characters.
    • If you want to disable it, you can do it from the ring menu [System] > [UI Settings] > [Nameplate] > [Disable].

  • The position of the hand markers no longer represents the hand position of the model; it now represents the position of the actual controller.

  • Photos taken with the photo capture will be saved as {Room name}{Creator name}{Year-Month-Date}_{Serial number}.jpg in %USER%\Pictures\VirtualCast\Media{Year-Month}.
  • Changed the behavior of the ring menu and the context menu when they are moved/rotated while being open.

  • Physics behavior has been adjusted so that it behaves the same no matter what type of HMD is being used.
  • Adjusted the character movement behavior in rooms.
    • Adjusted to make it more physically correct.
    • This change is made to prepare for the character control APIs planned to be added on VCI.
  • Locomotion option in rooms is now fixed to analog input.
  • You can now check the lifespan of items in the context menu even if you do not have permission to change it.
  • Changed the size and position of the context menu.
  • Reduced the frame drop apt to occur in aggressive scenes.

  • Fixed the issue where a user whose activity status is "offline" is shown on other users' friend lists.
