MIKULAND β mini YOSAKURA


The theme of "MIKU LAND" is "somewhere near, in the near future".
You can experience an official Hatsune Miku amusement park in VR and AR.
Using VR/AR apps, you can visit MIKU LAND to experience the opening and ending ceremonies,
enjoy communicating with other users and purchase MIKU LAND original merchandise.



MIKU LAND is a Hatsune Miku themed amusement park in virtual reality which opens for a limited time in Virtual Cast, a live VR communication service operated by Virtual Cast, Inc. Following the winter themed edition held last February, the latest installment “mini YOSAKURA” will introduce MIKU LAND with a spring themed makeover filled with illuminated cherry blossom trees in full bloom.

Amidst the breathtaking view, visitors can get together in groups for VR picnics and purchase exclusive VR items which include flyable VR drones, life-size Hatsune Miku digital figures and virtual cosplay outfits. Visitors also have the rare opportunity to meet up with virtual idols face-to-face and enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience. Immersive VR attractions (VR rhythm games and VR snowball fights) introduced in the previous edition will be made available again for all to enjoy.

Virtual Idol Group GEMS COMPANY and Virtual Singer Sugar
In addition to Piapro characters such as Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin & Len and VTuber Shinonome Megu, members of the virtual idol group GEMS COMPANY produced by Square Enix will be making a special guest appearance inside MIKU LAND. Additionally, on May 1st, 13:00-14:00 JST, Virtual Singer Sugar will also be appearing to guide English speaking audiences. Visitors can meet up with their favorite idols in VR and enjoy chatting and taking photos.

  • You can now see VCI debug consoles in Room
    • Switchable in [System] > [For Developer] > [VCI Debug].
  • If an item contains "Designed for PC," "Designed for VC Studio" or "Designed for VC Room" tags, you will be able to see those tags on the product information panel when purchasing an item in VR.
  • You can now use calibration within Room.
    • To do so, select [Change Character] > [Calibration].
  • You can now change the audio input device within Room from the ring menu.
    • You can do so from [System] > [Sound] > [Select Input Device].
  • We have renewed the video player in Studio.
    • You can now play videos from both Youtube and niconico.

  • Now supports VIVE Facial Tracker.
    • You can enable the facial tracker from the settings in the title screen, [Device] > [Enable VIVE Facial Tracker].
    • It blends VRM's preset blend shapes: AIUEO. It doesn't support the extended blend shapes defined over the standard VRM.

  • You will be transported to "the loading space" while loading a location in Room.

  • Cache for Studio and Room will now be kept even after the application has quit.
    • When the cache volume exceeds 5GB, the cache will be deleted from the oldest.
    • You can delete all cache by selecting [General] > [Delete cache and reset]
  • You can now pass an item from one hand to another.
  • Only the attractable VCIs will be listed in the "Attract" list from now on.
    • VCIs without any attractable SubItem will not be shown on the list.
  • Reduced the frame rate drops while drawing on the whiteboard.
  • Added diagnostics ID and the ID copy button on the credits screen in the title.
  • Removed the integration with niconi solid.

  • Fixed an issue where blinking was not reflected correctly in Room when using a touchpad-type controller with the operation type "Room."
  • Improved behavior when loading a large number of buttons simultaneously in a ring menu.
  • Fixed an issue where audio playback was not working correctly when using VCIs with 3D audio enabled in Studio.
  • Fixed an issue where photos taken with Photo Capture were not saved when the room name or user name contained characters that could not be used in the file name.
  • Fixed an issue that made the ring menu inoperable when the character was buried in a collider.
  • Fixed an issue where the location disappears when someone leaves an official studio.
  • Fixed an issue in Studio where VCIs that are rigidbody and whose ownership is not yours stay pinned in mid-air when attracted.
  • Fixed an issue where the Quick Start button in the VR title menu sometimes didn't work after a stream has ended.
  • Fixed the issue where locked VCI items could be attached.
  • Fixed the issue in Oculus Rift, Oculus Link or Cosmos environment; the emission point of hand laser was changed by whether the laser is hitting an item or not while striking the hand-gun pose or the count-one pose.
  • Fixed an issue in Rooms where Constraints are being ignored when you grabbed a VCI with Rigidbody.Constraints specified.

  • You will be brought into an offline studio when you first enter your My studio.
    • To go to My studio that is online, from the ring-menu, choose [Studios] > [Create Studio].
    • You can copy the studio ID of the current studio from the ring-menu > [Studios] > [Copy Studio ID].
  • The dialog for purchasing VCI/VRM has been redesigned.
