Robbin HUD

Why the hell am I showing you this boring view? Because I want you to focus on our super innovative HUD that we've stolen from other games. It can tell you a lot about Priest's features.

1.

We've got quest objectives. Because the person who took the screenshot (me) is a brainless monkey, currently there are no active quests selected, so the hint hints there are no active quests selected. Pity, because the quest objectives are the worst thing in the whole game, you're gonna love it.

2.

CompAss. This thing can show you N, E, S and W. Hope you'll use it a lot.

3.

We call it Zaibatsu, because it works just like respect indicators in GTA2. There are God worshipers and Devil worshipers. Please whoever you wish, piss off whoever you wish, and look how those beauties dance. Magic.

4.

Crosshair. We've deleted cross not to offend anyone's religious feelings.

5.

Resources. For trading and crafting. You know, just like in all those games like Fortnite that nobody plays.

6.

HP and Divine Power indicators. God only knows what those things are for.

7.

Ok. I know the feeling. It is the real thing. You see, it shows your left hand equipment, and right hand equipment... Because you can use both hands. On a left click, and on a right click (and no, not X, and Y on a pad, just forgot to switch it in a test build ːsteamfacepalmː). Separately. Simultaneously. However you like it. Whatever works. Amen.

This cemetery is waiting for Halloween

Look at this small Polish cemetery. This is a typical Catholic death storage.
Expensive gravestones smell of old wax. There is no living soul here. Only forgotten dead bodies in luxurious coffins.

But the end of October is coming. We can't wait until the sun goes out and the tomb fog revives the rotting corpses.

Confession #3

Forgive us, father, for blah blah blah.

There is such a very useful feature, called a minimap. A minimap is a remedy for almost all the troubles of a busy player.

Do you want to find the home of a satanist mentioned in the quest?
Follow the path marked on the minimap.

You got inside and you want to plunder the house, avoiding the patrolling neighbor?
Watch the minimap.

Can't find the required items?
The minimap will prompt.

Did you find them and run away from your neighbor and his buddies?
You don't have to turn around, all you need is a minimap.

In games where a lot is going on, like Priest Simulator, the minimap is a man's best friend. I mean, it would be a best friend if it existed. And the real priest simulators don't need best friends. A minimap solves so many problems that it becomes a problem itself. I hate this feeling when I find myself playing an FPP game, looking at the world from the eagle's view. Maybe someday we will make a mobile version, Hotline Vatican. Now we are focusing on a 3D experience. And your orientation will be supported with a tool I "inspired from" Sekiro. It already works, but I'll show you how it looks when I get a nicer UI.

Forgive us, father, for we have stolen...

There is a company called Limbic Entertainment. Before started working on the Tropico and Might & Magic series, they'd committed a game that had a huge impact on the creators of Priest Simulator.

Gefeuert! - Dein letzter Tag (Fired! Your last day) taught us the universal truth about a man who has nothing to lose. And the truth is: if you catch someone destroying your life, you destroy their lives back, but don't get caught. See for yourself:

Look like Andrew Eldritch, break the pens, plug the toilet, pee in the coffee pot, tear apart the posters, break the mirror... but don't get caught.

We took this mechanic to heart. That's why in Priest Simulator you can freely plunder the flats of the faithful and the unfaithful. In the name of God, devil or any other name that will give you an excuse to destroy. But you better not get caught.

Blessed be the misery, the filth, the discord and the horror
Blessed be the lies, the guilt, the fear, the woe and the betrayal

For these ones come from within
