Personoid Mask for tournament attendees - Hotfix 0.7.8.1


Dear Passengers, Residents and Personoids alike,

This hotfix aims to address some issues with the registration form in the beginning of the game. We know that people have had a lot of issues with it lately, but this should make it work as intended.

Then of course we have added the Personoid Mask to the participants of the Tournament. It looks amazing :)

A CRUSHING TIME - Patch 0.7.8.0


Dear Passengers, Residents and Personoids alike,

We hope that you are all enjoying your vacation or summer in general. As for us, we are pretty much all on vacation for a little bit, which is why you haven't seen as much from us as you would usually have. We promise to be back soon, freshly energized and ready to continue work!

However, the few that was in the office decided that you should get a little bit from us even though we are only a few hands on deck.

Spotted by the broken animation you will now encounter these Security Gates in the Mall.


We felt the mall needed a unique level hazard of it own and have therefore added these Security Gates to the Mall that act as a new cooperative task.

They are simple - you hold a button down for the door to rise up and other players can pass through, but if you let go it can lead to a crushing defeat for the other player(s). Use it to progress or let go to eliminate your foes, resididents and personoids alike!
Watch your back for stray bottles and pushy people looking to interrupt you.



Lastly, we have set the game on discount for a short amount of time so if you have a few friends who have waited for that - now is the time!

Personoid Quarters - Hotfix 0.7.7.1



It has been a week since our last major update "The Personoid Quarters". People seem to have liked it a lot but as with all things we saw that people were quick to exploit some things that we had not thought about. This patch aims to remove some of the player exploits as it can just be not fun, some stability upgrades and then we are preparing for our first piece of DLC that we are planning to drop very soon.

  • Logging into a Versus Evil account is now required. This is due to the game being compatible with DLC, Items and work on different platforms.


  • Progress-based achievements are now enabled again and cosmetics items are correctly unlocked for each achievement. Be aware that we still have issues with achievements in this version of Unreal - they only pop when entering the main menu and the in-game UI does not pop currently. Progress will not be tracked on Steam until the achievement is complete.
  • Syringes now spawn more randomly and are more hidden in all maps.
  • New items added to the closets in the Common Rooms - Six Pack spawn in closet is removed.
  • Preventing an exploit in the final level where Personoids could stay in the airlock forever with Magnetic Shoes, preventing C.A.I.N. from being shut down. Fix: Players within the airlock will not be included in the shutdown of C.A.I.N.
  • Vruumba Races is now in all maps.
  • Resident join game/start sound now plays for Personoids as well.
  • Optimization in the Mall and Personoid Quarters map.
  • Slightly increased the spawn-chance of Water Pistol in all maps.


  • Attempted to fix VOIP-issues where players can’t hear or talk.
  • Fixed an issue with the Karma score not updating correctly on the backend and it is now attached cloud-based to players’ profile.
  • Fixed an issue where the Personoid-chat sound could potentially reveal your faction when spawning in your cabin if sound bleeded through the microphone. The sound is now muted when the player starts.
  • Fixed a Crash on quitting the game if the player has been in the “controls” settings.
  • Fixed a crash where players got a UI message while being dead, on the end screen or a Vruumba.
  • Fixed an issue where reverb audio was missing in the game
  • Fixed an issue with bottle and handin of Oxygen/Keycard sounds would play forever.
  • Fixed an issue where two Keycards could spawn in the Smoking Room in the Restaurant map.
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes the Oxygen handin sound would not play.
  • Fixed an issue where ‘Render Resolution’ did not save its state visually after exiting and entering the main menu in-game.


  • Achievements are only visible when entering the main menu.
  • Volunteer Firefighter achievement is currently disabled.
