WIP 0.10.0 New Photo Mode Poses

WIP 0.10.0 Melee Attack Speed Ramping



Welcome back to another WIP update, this week, showing something that's been in the works since last patch. We've mentioned we wanted to increase players' attack speed the further they're into a combo. This is to help and reward players who just want to stand there and swing their weapons, bashing Quarks and M.A.S.S. units alike, but we weren't able to finish the system last patch. We'll tell you the reasons below.

The thing is, our attack combos are quite short already, with the most simplest form consisting of 4 hits that extends further if one were to hit a prompt. Simply making the attack speed there ramp would not be obvious if it's a small increase, while larger increments will make your M.A.S.S. units snap like a glitch, breaking all the effects, animations, and controls. Thus, right here, we've finished working on all stances and elongating attack combos by attaching the "extended" version onto the end of a combo as seamlessly as we can. Here's how it looks in comparison.



The first two hits might not be noticeable but further on it gets faster and faster. Players can also extend further, holding onto that increased attack speed, into other combos, either from the air or on the ground and continue their assault onto unfortunate enemies. We've also create a snap point on the preparation animation (which isn't shown in the image attached) and skip some frames to make these increased attack speed attacks feel much more natural and impactful and we hope you'll like it when you get to try it.

WIP 0.10.0 Development Progress



It's the start of September now, where's the 0.10.0 update? It's been a long time and all that's been posted are WIP. Those phrases are something that we'd like to talk about this week! So without further ado, let's talk about the state of the development now.

First things first, we'd like to say that update 0.10.0 has now reached its final development stage and will be ready for release soon. What does this mean? It means we have completed everything we wanted for 0.10.0 already and it's just polishing, testing, and adjusting numbers before we release a patch notes and then finally the update. Not later than October is our expected delivery.

Honestly, it's taken this long due to our desires for some newer mechanics in our missions and this update is filled to the brim with 7 missions all in all, 5 story and 2 hunts, as well as a number of new enemies we made to improve the whole feeling of the mission itself. Think of it as making each mission have their own small bits of flavor.



While we worked on the missions, we're also working on newer customization contents, as we've shown through our WIP. Simple melee parts, newer accessories, etc. in which we hope you players can use it to further your creativity.

We then come to the present where we're continuing to polish as of this moment, features and balances. We've been discussing balance changes with our players these past few months, sometimes even to the point where our community representative asked for players to chime in with newer ideas and we're excited to announce them soon through the patch notes. We hope all this clarifies the state of 0.10.0 development and we hope patch notes will be here soon.

Anything that we might have forgotten or anything you'd like to remind us from your requests/suggestions, we'll be there to answer them. WIP 0.10.0 Mission Gameplay Update Part 2



While we're reviewing the feedback of last week's simple parts update, here are some new teasers from the upcoming missions in version 0.10.0! They'll be filled with drone, shooting a hail of bullets and missiles at you from all over! There's various mechanics that we've specifically add for these enemies and missions and we hope you'll have fun when the update arrives.
