LADDER MATCH SEASON 12
Ladder Match Season 12 of DJMAX RESPECT V will take place from 6 PM KST on May 16th, 2024, and will last for 90 days!
The changes for Season 12 are as follows:
▶ System Additions
- The ONE PICK system will be added.
After receiving your tier placement, you can set ONE PICK for each button type, and the chosen song will be reflected in the song selection. ONE PICK allows you to choose from songs within your tier that you own. If multiple buttons are matched, the button set as BEST will be prioritized. Due to changes in tiers, if the song set as ONE PICK does not match your tier, it will be automatically removed and will need to be set again. - A practice feature is added.
After receiving your tier placement, you can practice while waiting for a match. The practice song will be chosen according to your tier, and practice results will not be recorded. If an opponent is found during practice, the ladder match will start immediately. For those in Diamond 1 tier and above, practice mode will operate in hard judgment mode.
▶ Ladder Match Changes
- Placement matches are changed from 3 games to 2 games.
- The minimum tier for hard judgment to be automatically applied is changed from 'Master' to 'Diamond 1'.
- The starting tier for players without records from the previous season will be influenced by DJ CLASS.
▶ Season Reward
As participation rewards for Season 11, everyone who completes ladder match placement will receive 500 PLAY POINTS.

- 'NEW' is used to classify songs added based on the most recent regular DLC updates.

- Songs classified under 'NEW' are regularly swapped approximately every 6 months to align with new regular DLC releases, and the previous 'NEW' categorizations are changed and reflected as 'BASIC'.
■ DJ CLASS has been introduced.
- It is determined based on the top 70 DJ POWER of ‘BASIC’ songs and the top 30 DJ POWER of ‘NEW’ songs.
- Accumulated DJ POWER, after internal calculations, qualifies for a corresponding DJ CLASS, which increases in rank as the score increases. (DJ CLASS is calculated and accumulated separately for each button mode.)
■ DJ CLASS category has been added to the FREE STYLE mode.
■ DJ CLASS tab has been added in COLLECTION mode.
■ Regular rewards will be distributed with PLAY POINT.
- In line with the release of the next regular DLC, songs under the NEW category will be transitioned to BASIC, and the accumulated DJ POWER will be automatically adjusted accordingly.

- The REWIND key can be changed in the SYSTEM SETTING under CONTROL key configuration.
- A REWIND notification automatically appears when a BREAK occurs. This feature can be toggled on and off in the GAME settings within SYSTEM SETTING.
- Using the REWIND feature incurs a score penalty of 100,000 points on the final score.
