Welcome to the Second Developer update!
Welcome to the Second Developer update!
As per our initial Announcement these can be expected every 2 weeks, although, we get excited sometimes and drop sneak peaks from time to time outside of this.
“Help me with my Research, and I’ll share the fruits of labour”
Taming, is completed.
The Chief has made solid progress on all aspects of Taming, and can now say it is complete. Across all Creatures not just the Werewolves. We’ll share with you some more creatures soon!
Relaunched, faithfully reimagined. This is the underlying aim of the project. To provide an enhanced experience in comparison to the 2019 release without making a completely different game.
To do this, we are using new assets trialling new mechanics and getting buried in spreadsheet documents. The joy. We are confident than fans of Creatures Inc. will see this as a huge upgrade and not just a visual makeover.
One of those new ventures that has successfully paid off and I pinged the Tamers earlier on in the week to tease about it early. The new Taming process now includes a Parasite, for extensive mind manipulation allowing the Tamer to have excellent responses and consistently loyal creatures, if you can get them to bond that is!

Perhaps you’re wondering what’s with these Headers?
It’s my nerdy way of saying, we’ve been busy fleshing out Missions, Quests, and Trading. Although not fully completed we are making strong progress and can confirm there will be Creature Hunting for Survival, Food, Loot and Sport.
And there will also be a system to acquire Parasites. The vision for them is that they ca be found in certain conditions but can also be obtained from an NPC. This way you can Tame as many, or as little, creatures as you want. And yes, we also see an army of Werewolves as a necessity.
There will be a network of NPC’s to aid help or hinder your progress through the world.
Players can expect, NPC Merchants, NPC Mission Givers, NPC Skill Trainers, Enemy NPC’s – Multiple varieties.
“I’m sorry Traveller I’m a little busy right now. Come back another time”
Although we are making good progress we are also uncomfortable to try and provide a timescale. We have decided on a Phase Program.
We are still fining tuning this but the community will be able to track our progress and know what to expect according to which Phases have been Completed and which Phases are still being worked on. It is basically a RoadMap or rather an Early Access Road Map of sorts.
We both work on the game in our free time, it is too difficult to suggest how long certain tasks may take.
