Update V 0.0.5e

Hi there girls and guys.

I fought against covid in the last two weeks so I had no energy to work on the game. Now that I am fit again I can finally post the patch. Not much as always but something new for you. A few changes and tweaks.

I hope you like it and have a good start into the week.


Update Notes Version 0.0.5e


Additions:

+ Added wooden reversed triangle roof
+ Added stone reversed triangle roof
+ Added new wood build part models
+ Added wooden ladder
+ Added wooden double doorframe
+ Added wooden double door
+ Added wstone double doorframe
+ Added reinforced double door



Changes:

- Changed: Wood barricades will deal damage to players and AI now
- Changed: It is possible to eat and drink while sitting on a wagon
- Changed: Optimized ceiling placement
- Changed: Wood building parts have new models
- Changed: The building needs for wooden build parts are changed to use more planks
- Changed: Meteoroids are relevant to all clients so they can see landed Meteoroids on the map
- Changed: Animation to take water with a bucket is changed to a better looking one
- Changed: Removed the weapon wheel and redo the changes around it (The building will stay as it it now)
- Changed: Using a shovel will give you the items directly into your inventory instead of spawning a sand/earthpile
- Changed: To empty your hands you have to simply press the selected hotbar slot. It will toggle between the slot and empty hands now
- Changed: Reduced the OP Damage of bows and crossbows




Fixes:

- Fixed: Planks and sticks are not able to burn in the chimney
- Fixed: Evading gorothka's attacks will not prevent from damage
- Fixed: Guild member symbols are displayed below other icons which makes it hard to see them
- Fixed: Building a pillar is not possible when a half wall or fence is present
- Fixed: Placing ceilings is not possible when foundations below are made of stone
- Fixed: Cows, calfs and Bulls are not able to go through door frames
- Fixed: When holding a two handed weapon or bow and change the current weapon to a one handed weapon, it is not possible to ignite the torch or use the shield
- Fixed: hitting a death AI will show the damage amount
- Fixed: Lassoed AI do not cross some bridges
- Fixed: Crossing bridges with a wagon will cause a strange behavior
- Fixed: Detaching a horse from a wagon will cause it to stick in front of it and can no longer be lassoed
- Fixed: Chicken lay eggs in mid air
- Fixed: When driving a wagon important points and portals they will not be shown on the map to the players when near
- Fixed: No footstep sounds for horses when having a high angle of surface
- Fixed: AI is falling through roof building parts

Hey there. This week there are just bug fixes and some little additions. I am still working on the caves and further content. So stay tuned and have a nice weekend :)

Additions:

+ Added burn damage to camp fires
+ Added burn sound when standing on a camp fire ad getting damage
+ Added tooltip info in the buildng menu for the items that are needed to build a structure
+ Added a checkbox to the guild member segment to toggle the visibility of the player on the map
Means it is possible to see friends on the map)



Changes:

- Changed: Sticks can now be used as burning fuel
- Changed: Planks can now be used as burning fuel
- Changed: The Player icon is always on top of all other icons now to prevent from hiding the player icon



Fixes:

- Fixed: When upgrading a building object, the old type stays in the world
- Fixed Sleeping position when sleeping in a bedroll
- Fixed a problem where the dirty water info in the water purifier and water barrel is getting lost when open a water catcher
- Fixed After planting a crop you have to select the slot again to plant more
- Fixed: It is possible to block with a shield while hitting. This causes a invulnerability

Update V0.0.5c

Hi there girls and guys,

in this update I fixed a lot of bugs and added the weapon wheel. I know it will be a bit arkward in the beginning and I brainstorm for a better solution but the quickbar will be used for usables and skills in the future. So yes. It was neccessary but I guess you will be comfortable with it in no time.

I am still working on the cave stuff but I go further with it. I hope you enjoy the fixes and feel free to post everything you find on the discord server. Have a nice start into the week :)

- Removed Building Plan from crafting list



Changes:

- Changed: The Building Plan is no longer required to build. Instead there is a Key to open it (Default "B")
- Changed: The Building plan is no longer equipable (If you saved with an equiped plan just take it off of the slot)
- Changed: When you near a meteroid it will be shown on the map and minimap
- Changed: Updated the map icons
- Changed: The Town will now have only one icon on the map to better use the teleporter icon
- Changed: The radius to see chicken health bars is raised to better get notice of them

- Fixed: Bosses will be completely healed when accidentally walked over the reset area when they are not in fallback state

- Fixed: Translation for Iron hatchet and pickaxe in the anvil is wrong

Update V 0.0.5b

Hi there girs and guys,

in this patch I added a weapon wheel to switch weapons. This is important because you will no longer be able to put weapons into the hotbar. Instead I added 3 new slots to the character window where you have to put them in. The weapon wheel can be opened by simply pressing the middle mouse button.

I know this is a change not everybody can agree with but the reason is: I want to add skills which you will be able to use with the hotbar. So you have a better management and only have important stuff in the hotbar.

I hope it makes sense if you think about that but please let us discuss that on the discord channel. I am open for everything at that point :)

- Changed: Weapons, range weapons and tools can not be added to the hotbar anymore. Instead you have to put the weapon etc in the given slots in the character overview

- Fixed Mount AI do not drop the rare items
- Fixed attack animation is continued even if the attack button is not pressed anymore
- Fixed: When torch or shield is equipped the player is using both hands to punch (It will only use the right hand now)
- Fixed: When upgrade a building part the player will swing the hammer and deal damage to the structure

I am still working on the caves and other stuff to do for you. It is a huge process so it will need much more time. But even if it seems that nothing happen on the game I'm working everyday to finish the work :)
