New building system is live!

Hi there. The new building system is live!

Means now you have a lot more possibilities to build your base.

Ok there are only 3 block tiers with 11 blocks each tier but with these blocks you have much more possibilities than with the old system.

I hope you enjoy the new system and please post every bug you can find. I will fix them as soon as possible.

Building system changes

Hi there!

Re.Poly had a lot of issues with the building system that it offers and I know there are a lot of creative people out there. So why shouldn't I give you the possibility to form your buildings as you really want?

The best way to build in a creative and absolutely free way ist a block building system as you know from other big or small games.

So I decided to work on a block building system and it works very fine and great in performance for now.
There are not much blocks for the beginning, but there will be a lot more in the future.

The update is planned for sunday.

Hotfix V 0.0.7c

Sorry for the cursed building bug. The structures you have made are useless now.

I will test absolutely everything before I post an update in the future. My mistake.



Changes:

- Changed the stone door and window glass to wood so you can not look into someones base


Fixes:

- Made the bandage usable in the inventory with right klicking
- Removing a weapon or tool from an external inventory causes a 0% durability on the players equal inventory slot id
- Fixed wrong translations for loaded build parts
- Fixed no onwer warning on own structures
- Fixed loaded build parts are not usable anymore

Update V 0.0.7c Guilds raising

Hi there!

This week the guild system takes place in Re.Poly
That means there are minor changes in building permissions. The claim sphere is removed from the game. If you build something and then get a member from a guild, all the build parts will be given to the leader of the guild. If you leave the guild or getting kicked you are no longer able to use the build parts or destroy them with the hammer.

What is possible with guilds for now:

- Create guild
- Invite players
- Kick players
- Making members moderators to invite and kick players
- Every member from a guild can use/destroy all build parts that depending to the guild
- Membernames will be green and the guild name will be shown above the playername
- Guild chat

Next week I will focus on the breeding and water system. So good things will coming.

- Added crop soil row (for having authentic outside planting)
- Added punching when no weapon or holdable is equipped or when not building
- Added wood bucket (no using effect at this moment)

- Added destruction effect to copper and iron resources
- Added repair info for weapon, tools etc. when durability is lower than 100%

- Build permission system is changed to guild based building permissions
- Removed claim spheres
- Made the night a bit brigther
- Shields will now knock back ai that hitting the shield instead of raising the armor
- Removed the fog in the Dark Forest for now
- Copper spear trap deals an amount of damage, iron spear trap kills instantly without taking care of armor


Fixes:

- Fixed crafting actors crafting issues and inventory failures
- Fixed arrows nd bolts didn't hit ai and animals right
- Fixed camera glitched through walls
- Fixed arrows and bolts go through walls
- Fixed build preview disappeares if the preview hits the player
- Fixed bear trap pickup will give "none"-item
- Fixed waves will end in infinite loop
- Fixed flying after being in the water
- Fixed Horses getting lost when logout on a horse
- Fixed Horses getting lost when saving and loading a singleplayer save
- Fixed Ceilings are nor placeable on normal walls
- Fixed Plants create grids nearby
- Fixed sword equipping sound
- Fixed spear trap spears are visible when you build them to a higher floor
- Fixed underwater sound
- Fixed problems with closing the inventory with the key when clicked buttons etc

Update V 0.0.7b Traps and Crossbow

V 0.0.7b

New stuff is coming in the next weeks. In this patch you have a new range weapon, traps and settings for your game. Watch the following video to get more informations about the patch. Have a nice weekend :)

Additions:

- Added Taming Sphere (40% succsess rate) to the Alchemy Table at lvl 13
- Added 2 loading screen images
- Added Copper Spike Trap
- Added Iron Spike Trap
- Added Crossbow
- Added Bear Trap



Changes:

- Horses are tameable now with a Taming Sphere.
- Removed Horse unlocking at lvl 15
- Changed the main menu music
- Changes item slot count amount apperance
- you can now use the exp slider and other options for single and coop games
(At this moment you have to set them every time you start a new or saved game)


Fixes:

- Fixed stone rebuildables are not rebuildable
- Fixed bug in workbench where items were not crafted but resources were taken
- Fixed first weapon item from quickslot flickers when using a shovel
- Fixed anvil will craft tools and items with 0% durability
- Fixed Interact timer display is wrong
- Fixed optical tools and weapons that are attached to the char will not be destroyed
after moving them to external inventories or the inventory itself
- Fixed moving a stack from the crafting actors will not give the right stack size
- Fixed goblin archers make damage without checking your armor
- Fixed armor is deleted in death bags
- Fixed drinking a glass of water consume the glass too
- Fixed crafting more than 1 item in hands will take all the resources for the count you typed in
- Fixed Quiver is not visible when arrow is in inventory
- Fixed Fire Sphere do no damage on bow and stationary AI
- Fixed Arrows deal no damage to stationary AI
