Panzer Paladin News

Hey everyone!

Thanks to your feedback and reports, we were able to quickly point out and fix some bugs in Panzer Paladin. We are happy to announce that the disappearing bug with Nian, China's weapon keeper, is fixed. We have also fixed that frustrating bug that happened to some of you that made you lose progress in the Inverted Tower when exiting the game to come back later. (You still shouldn't go back to the World Map in between stages.)

Today's patch includes the following.

[h2]Changelist for version 1.0.0.6805[/h2]
This patch will also come to Nintendo Switch sometime later in August.

[h3]Fixes[/h3]
*Fixed Nian (China boss) disappearing
*Game Over no longer wipes Inverted Tower progression
*Fixed Tournament mode crash
*Fixed savegame play time reporting twice the actual time played
*Fixed curse reset. (ie. used to be able to stay in slowmo after death)
*Canada Story: Added a ceiling collision to prevent glitches in transition between part 3 and 4.
*Canada Remix: Added a ceiling collision to prevent glitches in transition between part 4 and 5.
*Japan Story and Remix: Changed dectection direction on some exploding blocks to prevent softlocks and cheap deaths with Flame.
*Japan, USA, Ravenous City, Catacombs (story and remix): Fixed missing collisions in easy mode.

*Tweaked Catacombs level art

Reminder: Steam trading cards & badges are now also available!


[h2]Soundtrack[/h2]
It is now possible to listen to the soundtrack on all major music streaming services including Spotify and YouTube Music!

Today, we have also activated Steam cards and badges. These are retro-active so if you've played the game long enough already, you should have some Panzer Paladin cards in your inventory. Trade them with your friends or join the trade forum to get the complete collection and earn badges.

The Panzer Paladin gameplay trailer is here!

The showdown between mankind’s technological prowess and the powerful forces of the occult has begun! Hop in your Paladin and take up arms!

The trailer quickly reveals a new feature of the game called the Blacksmith. This mode allows you - yes, you! - to draw actual weapon pixel sprites, name them, assign them various attributes (attack damage, durability, spell, etc.), and share them with your friends through the Steam Workshop. These weapons can then be obtained in-game by defeating a certain character. We’ll stop right there or we’d have to tag our spoilers!



(For people waiting for the Nintendo Switch edition, this feature will also be available but weapons, however you will not be able to share them on the Steam Workshop.)
