String Together Neighboring Galaxies in Beyond E28: Clusterstruck

HOTFIX UPDATE 33.44: Android version is now available to all players. Thank you for your patience!

--------------------------------------------------------

Hello Universe Architects,

The first Beyond episode of the year is here and it’s bigger than ever before.

We’ve zoomed out to study our observable universe and then we centered on the middle of our own galaxy, but now we’re travelling out even further. We’re beginning to venture into the great unknown, and we need your curiosity to help uncover what other clusters of matter lie beyond the Milky Way. Let’s get mindblown in…

Beyond E28: Clusterstruck
The Luster of Clusters
We’re taking stargazing to a whole new level. Starting at the Virgo Supercluster, Semblance is setting her sights on what lies in the great beyond.
 • Create an even more efficient universe with five bustling Generators.
 • Discover what entities surround the Milky Way with ten new Trait Cards.
 • Add up to five new galaxies to the massively expanding simulation.
Smaller Than Ants
It’s common knowledge that our universe is a big place, but how much do we really know about it? Zoom out and see what the Virgo Supercluster has to offer in the expanded Beyond garden.
 • Shrink down your Beyond garden to surprising depths and see how colossal our universe really is (so far).
 • Brighten up the place and collect new 3D galaxies.
Where No Man Has Gone Before…
As we begin to venture past the point of no return, we’re spotting collectibles that need to be beamed up into the spaceship. Can you find them all?
 • Unlock up to ten achievements that are waiting to be uncovered.
 • Get caught up in a whirlwind with a new Astronomy Mission: Butterfly Galaxies.
 • Light the skies with two additional constellations to complete: Aquila and Pavo.
Additional Features:
• The ISS Trophy Node is now available in the Augmentation Store.
 • View a short summary of each event in their respective Explore Event pop-up.
 • Fixed: Bugs affecting failed purchases and missing Explore Event rewards.
 • Other minor bug fixes and improvements.

Beyond E28: Clusterstruck is available to play now on Steam and will be available to all Android and iOS players by 03/03/2025 at 11:59 PM ET.

While players enjoy the latest episode of the Beyond, our team is still hard at work behind the scenes. We have a lot to share soon, so keep your eyes peeled as we prepare for the official release of our first 2025 dev diary (coming soon). Look forward to a new roadmap and some game changing news regarding the Primary Simulation.

This is just the first of other exciting updates to come this year. Prepare to simulate on a whole new level, Universe Architects!

Stay cellular,
The Cells Team

How to redeem Darwinium:
 • Open the game and navigate to Settings in the top right corner of the screen.
 • Select the Help tab.
 • Click on Redeem Code.
 • Enter the code into the text box (all caps, no spaces) and click Confirm.

Dissect the Mechanical Brain in Explore: Artificial Intelligence – Mind Machines

Hello Universe Architects,

The time has come for Semblance to explore the technological origins of her curiosity. How has she come to be? Why is she here? And what is her intended purpose? For centuries people have imagined a tool that could replicate or even surpass the complexity of the human brain. Will you help Semblance during her moment of self-discovery?

Explore: Artificial Intelligence – Mind Machines
Information Processing…
The development of artificial intelligence is still an evolving process. Follow the elaborate history of automata in the 1700’s to the pros and cons of modern A.I. in the new Explore Event tree.
 • Process valuable information provided by 64 Research Nodes.
 • Assemble the foundations of computer systems with 6 total Generators.
 • Progress through the tree to turn Artificial Intelligence into a Progress Bar Generator.
 • Earn Circuits to transfer them into an electrifying new currency: Nodes.
 • Hear Semblance’s thoughts as she accompanies you on the tree.
Simulation: COMPLETE
Simulate your own collection of knowledge in the Artificial Intelligence event garden, complete with sparkling nodes in the background.
Deep Learning
Add these technologically advanced Explore Event badges to your database.
 • Get the simulation gears turning with Thinking Machine (+5% A.I. event boost), Hivemind (+10% A.I. event boost), and Superintelligence (+15% A.I. event boost).

Explore: Artificial Intelligence — Mind Machines is available to play on Steam, Android and iOS today at 11am ET until February 3 at 10:50am ET.

It was great to see so many of you in our most recent Chillstream! There we revealed a first look at our first event of the year, Explore: Artificial Intelligence – Mind Machines. If you missed out on the hype, click here to watch it on YouTube. There’s also a specially themed Darwinium code for players to claim on our socials.

New year, new in-game content. While it’s too early to share details yet, we have a cellular year planned for players. Keep an eye out for the first dev diary of 2025, which is currently in the works and slated to release in February.

You can also join our beta to get a sneak peek and test these developments as they go live! Follow the instructions below and get testing on your platform of choice:
Android Players:
Calculate the Truth in Explore: Mathematics – Beautiful Complexity

Hello Universe Architects,

As a curious species, we are all too aware of the mysteries that go unsolved. Throughout history humans have chased down answers to some of these questions, and one field of study in particular has provided irrefutable proof. Some people may even say it’s an entirely different language.

We have done some calculations of our own, and we’ve deduced that it’s time for an all-new Explore Event. Crack out your calculators for:

Explore: Mathematics – Beautiful Complexity
Greater Than The Sum Of Its Parts
Which systems in mathematics were developed first? How did we discover numbers? Just how evolved are we in our mathematical pursuits? The answers are adding up on the new Explore Event tree.
 • Explore the surprisingly fun side of math with 61 total Research Nodes.
 • Learn more about important numerical pillars with 8 new Generators
 • Envision the structure of mathematical theories with custom-tailored icon art.
 • Follow along with italic word problems in the tooltips to get into an analytical mindset.
A Gifted Mind
The human brain works overtime while problem solving. Enjoy the feeling of deciphering head-scratching problems encapsulated in the new Explore Event garden.
 • Fill empty headspace with each Generator unlock and watch the Math garden overflow with knowledge.
The Math is Mathing
We’ve double checked our math, and we know we got this answer right. Add these three badges to your simulation for a significant percentage boost: Algebra, Pi, and Euler’s Identity.

Explore: Mathematics — Beautiful Complexity is available to play on Steam, Android and iOS today at 11am ET until December 19 at 10:50pm ET.

While we finish carrying over the 1, it’s time we share a little bit of information outside of the simulation. Our team is hosting a Let’s Play for Explore: Mathematics on our official Discord server RIGHT NOW! Join in on the fun, ask the devs some questions and receive free Darwinium when you provide us with your Player ID. We’ll be there brainstorming until 12 PM ET.

In case you missed our livestream last week, it’s currently available to view on YouTube. This was our last livestream of the year so don’t miss out on the festivities, Darwinium codes, and an insider perspective on Explore: Math from our economy specialist!

Speaking of the end of the year, our team will be going on a holiday break next week and we’ll be returning in January. We can’t thank our players enough for another mindblowing year of curiosity, discoveries and support. Stay tuned for more to come in 2025.

Happy holidays and stay brainy,
The Cells team
