Patch 6.01: We Hatched a Major Update - The Reptiles & Birds Expansion is Here!

After 50 levels, 25 dinosaurs, and over five months of development, the Mesozoic Valley finally rejoins with the main tree with the addition of reptiles and birds.

Ever wonder what became of these magnificent prehistoric beasts after the end of their era? Follow the trail of the Archaeopteryx and explore the evolutionary path that led to our modern scaled and feathered friends.

Rise of the Reptiles (and Birds!)

Slither or glide into the main tree and meet our newest animal additions! Leaping lizards, boisterous blue jays, and many more can now be discovered in the main tree and added to the land garden!

- Unlock 4 Reptiles, 4 Birds, and more than 30 Traits that guided their journey to the modern day.
- Glitch nodes can now be discovered through leveling up in the Mesozoic Valley.
- Reptile and Bird Achievements are here with even more cringe-worthy puns.
- 3D modeled Birds and Reptiles join the Tetrapods, Mammals, Primates, and Humans in the land garden.

Your Spiny New Friend

We’ve redesigned our Spinosaurus to have a brand-new look based on the latest paleontological discoveries. Catch this dinosaur taking a swim or staying fierce on the beach.

- All 24 dinosaurs now cry out with unique sound effects when you select them.
- We fixed the Iguanodon foot! (no more tap dancing).
- Ichthyosaurs now jumps out of the water more frequently. How cinematic!
- Cynodont now pops in and out of its burrow. Where’d it go?!

Mesozoic Mania Semi-Finals

Reality Engine Upgrades

We added more unlockable upgrades to the Reality Engine! You can finally spend those MetaBits you’ve been saving up.

Additional New Features & Improvements:

- Game Transfer UI: Some players were having trouble setting up accounts, specifically inputting email verification codes. We redesigned the UI to make it easier.
- More story elements have been added after the T-Rex ending.
- New illustrations are now included in Discovered Species popups when you reach the required ranks in Mesozoic Valley.
- The Great Fossil (or The Rock) unlocking sequence has been modified to work independently from the previous community event.
- Fixed the bug which caused hard resets without fully resetting the dinosaur ranks. You can now enter Mesozoic Valley without worrying!
- The Great Fossil opening cutscene no longer bypasses your mute settings.

We know a lot of players have been waiting for an update, and we want to thank you for your patience and support!

This is only the first phase of this update. We have much more in store, such as additional traits and a redesigned land garden with new visuals.

We can’t wait to hear everyone’s feedback, and we hope you enjoy playing this update as much as we enjoyed developing it.
