1. New Character System 'Awakening' Update
- 'Awakening' will be updated for Elesis, Lire, and Arme.
- Completing Awakening Missions will awaken the character. Players can unlock 2 new skills and a Core System.

- 'Awakening Stone of Freedom' and 'Awakening Stone of Transformation' will be added. This item can be acquired through the Awakening-exclusive dungeon 'Abyssal Path', Shop, or quests. It is used to unlock and use new skills and the Awakening Core System.

1) New Skill
(1) New 4th Bar Special Skill
- After Awakening the character, players can unlock and use the first Main Core from the Core System.
- Each character will have 1 additional skill. This special skill can be used with all jobs of the same character.
- Players must choose between the existing and new 4th Bar Special Skill for use.

(2) Awakening Special Skill
- After Awakening the character, players can unlock and use the second Main Core from the Core System.
- The Awakening Special Skill will be reinforced each time another Main Core is unlocked.
- Each character will have 1 additional skill. Players can register the skill to the new skill slot added to right of the existing skill slot.

- Awakening Special Skills can be used when the exclusive gauge is full. Players can charge the gauge by consuming MP. However, even if the gauge is full, the skill cannot be used while on cooldown.
- Awakening Special Skills are not affected by the 'Reduce Skill MP(AP) Consumption' and 'Reduce Skill Cooldown' stats.

2) Core System

- The Core System will be added to the Awakening Tab of the Skill Tree.
- The Core System consists of 4 Main Cores and 9 Support Cores.
- The Main Core provides skills related to the new special skill, and the Support Core provides stats.
- Players can use the 'Awakening Stone of Freedom' to unlock Cores in order.
- Unlocking a Support Core provides fixed stats, which can be reset within a specified range using the 'Awakening Stone of Transformation'.

3) Crafting for New Chase Coordi - Awakening Added
- Awakening Chase Coordi for Elesis, Lire, and Arme will be added to the Craft Tab.
- Awakening Chase Coordi can be crafted using 300 'Chase Coordi Fragments'.
- Awakening Chase Coordi will be provided with Season 5 stats.

4) Bermesiah's Hero Collection - Awakening Added

- The 'Awakening' effect will be added to the 'Collections' category in Bermesiah's Hero Collection.
- This can be viewed in the tab to the right of the Lv. 85 effects. The Awakening effects are as follows.
- 1 Character (Vitality +1000) / 3 Characters: Critical Strike Damage +10% / 5 Characters: Critical Strike Chance +3% / 10 Characters: EXP +5%

- Elesis, Lire, and Arme Awakening Chase Coordi Collection will be added to Chase Coordi Collection.
- Completing the collection will provide additional stats for the account.

5) Character Information - Awakening Information Added

- For Awakened characters, '(Awakened)' will be added to the right of the job name.

6) Character Growth Guide Added

- 'Awakening Special Skill' and 'Core System' guides will be added.

7) Stat Descriptions Added
- The following 14 stats will be added to the Inventory's 'Stat Ranking' category and Player Information's 'Stat Information' category.


8) Awakening Shop Added

- The Rune category in the Shop will be renamed to Special Shop.
- The Awakening Shop will be added under the Special Shop.

9) Awakening Stone Package Added
- Players can purchase Awakening Stone of Freedom and Awakening Stone of Transformation packages with VP or GP in the Awakening Shop.
* When purchasing with VP, the item will be sent to [Purchased Item Storage].
* When purchasing with GP, the item will be immediately sent to [Inventory].
- Awakening Stone packages can be purchased 1 time per week per account.
* The Purchase Limit will reset every Wednesday at 06:00(UTC+0).

10) Character Voice Overs
With the Awakening update, additional new Special Skill voices have been recorded for each language.
Please see below for more details on the changes.

(1) Improvements to Existing Character Voices
- Improved voices that had low quality or inconsistent volume.

(2) Replaced Korean Voice Actors for Lire and Arme
- Changed the Korean voice actors for Elesis, Lire, and Arme from the same voice actor to separate voice actors for each character.
- Elesis' voice actor will remain the same, while Lire and Arme will have new voice actors.

(3) Applied Portuguese Voices
- Portuguese voices will be available in an additional update.
- The update date will be announced separately at a later date.



1. New Special Dungeon - Character Awakening Dungeon 'Abyssal Path' Update

To keep the world in balance, the Creator created the Tower of Disappearance to symbolize the cycle of creation and destruction.
It was a tool that allowed the Demons to destroy and the Celestials to create.
However, mesmerized by the Tower's power, the Void planned to harness it over time.

After a long time,
a small rift formed in the Tower of Disappearance after a fierce battle between the GrandChase and Kaze'aze.
The Void, which had been waiting for the moment, took advantage of the breach to infiltrate the tower. The order of the tower began to crumble in an instant.
With the intervention of a strange power other than that of creation and destruction, the tower quickly collapsed.
In the aftermath, all life on Aernas was dragged into the unknown space of the Abyssal Path.

This twisted world, warped by the Void
reflected the inner lives of all creatures, materializing their fears and wounds.

In this place, where even the concept of time and space was lost, the GrandChase was condemned to endless wandering.
Yet they could never give up.
Only by escaping this place could they save the crumbling Aernas and rekindle the flames of hope.

“There is only one way out of this place. To surpass ourselves.”
Can the GrandChase overcome their respective trials, escape the Abyssal boundary, and save Aernas again?
Time passes, while hope and despair walk on a fine line.
Everything is in their hands now.

1) Entry Requirements

- Entry is available with Level 85 characters.
- There will no daily play limit.
※ However, if players reach the maximum inventory holdings of 'Awakening Stone of Freedom' and 'Awakening Stone of Transformation', players cannot play the dungeon.

2) Abyssal Path Dungeon Features
- The Abyssal Path randomizes the monsters and maps that appear.

- Abyssal monsters have been given traits by the Void. They are randomly assigned a trait at the start of each stage, and each trait has different effects on attack and defense.
- From a certain stage onward, 'Calamities' occur on the Abyssal Path. Periodically, a wide AOE attack is cast across the map.

3) Difficulty
- The Abyssal Path consists of 20 stages, each of which has a 'difficulty'.
- The time spent clearing a stage determines how much the difficulty of the next stage will increase.
- Boss monsters will appear in certain stages. If players clear that stage, a gate will appear that will increase the difficulty.
- Rewards can only be claimed once the dungeon has ended. Rewards are based on the difficulty level at the time of the final stage.

4) Reward
(1) Awakening Stone

- Players can acquire 'Awakening Stone of Freedom', 'Awakening Stone of Transformation', and various rewards from each difficulty.
- The amount of rewards acquired increases with increasing difficulty.

(2) Title and Monster Card

- Abyssal Illuminator (Title)
- (True) Abyssal Illuminator (Title)
- Abyssal Dominator (Monster Card)
- The [(True) Abyssal Illuminator] title can be upgraded in the Hero's Bullion Shop using [Abyssal Illuminator], [Awakening Stone of Freedom], and [Awakening Stone of Transformation] as materials.

We understand that there are many questions about the upcoming Awakening System.
Today, we would like to give a brief introduction to the basic structure of the Awakening System and the direction of its development.
Let's check it out!


■ Awakening System Introduction □ How to Awaken
Awakening can be unlocked after reaching level 85 and completing the Awakening Missions!

□ Awakening Skill Tree
Players can use Awakening Currency acquired through play to open the Skill Tree and advance.
The Skill Tree is composed of 2 elements shown below:
- Main Core: The main growth component for acquiring and reinforcing new special skills.
- Stat Support Core: The support growth component for fine-tuning and adjusting the stats for the character.


1. New Stage 4 Special Skill
This special skill has been developed to overcome the weaknesses of existing special skills and make them more useful in various contents.

2. Awakening Special Skill This will be the most powerful special skill, allowing players to focus attacks in moments when players need to deal a great amount of damage.
Features:
Upon using the special skill, the character's appearance will change and have increased stats for a certain period of time.
However, there is a use limit. Players must choose the right timing to gain the upper hand.

3. Stat Support Core
Upon acquisition, fixed stats will be applied.
Players may use Awakening Currency to reapply stats if necessary.
Each core has a set number of properties and values that can be acquired. Players must play the Awakening Dungeon consistently to gain the desired stats!


■ Awakening Dungeon
The Awakening Dungeon is a challenge content that will test the limits of the characters that players have developed.

- Requirements: Characters Level 85 or higher, 4-player dungeon.
- Features:
Monsters and maps in each stage are randomized to provide a new twist.
Players can challenge to a higher difficulty level based on their performance.
The higher the final difficulty, the more Awakening Currency players can acquire.


■  Character Control Improvements
We are improving existing characters alongside the Awakening update to address feedback regarding the challenges with character controls and hitboxes.

- Hitbox Improvements for Certain Attacks that Use Weapons:
Improved the hitbox for attacks that did not hit all enemies in the area
Improved the hitbox for certain attacks that cause reverse stun on successful hits, slowing down the player's attack speed

- Controls Improvements:
Improved controls for certain characters that were unable to dash in-air
Improved controls to make combo movements flow more smoothly

- Improvements may vary by character, so please stay tuned for more details in the update.

- Players can log in for 30 minutes every day for 15 days to acquire Christmas Mary Jane Pet, Awesome Christmas Coordi Limited Time Select Box, Single Stat Change Scroll, Single Stat Drop Protection Scroll, GP Item Property Scroll, Coordi Fusion Scroll, Reinforcement Protection Scroll (+16), Reinforcement Protection Scroll (+0~+15), Premium GC Club, Advanced Rune Summon Chest, and other various items.
- The Christmas Merry Jane pet cannot be moved to Warehouse after it is acquired, so please choose the character to receive it carefully.

2) Weekly Chain Mission
- Players can clear a total of 3 missions weekly in order and acquire rewards.

- Week 3 Chain Mission (January 1st 06:00 - January 8th Before Maintenance (UTC+0))
- Chain Mission can only be cleared 1 time per account.
- Upon clearing the chain missions, players can acquire GP Item Property Scroll, Reinforcement Protection Scroll (+0~+15), Advanced Rune Summon Chest, and other various items.

3) Special Mission Event
- Players can acquire rewards for clearing special missions given during the special mission event.
- New Year Special Mission (December 31st 06:00 - January 2nd 06:00 (UTC+0))

- Special Mission: Play with 2 Players or More 3 Times
- Reward: [Happy New Year Gift Bundle]
- Players can acquire Single Property Scroll (Lv.85), Advanced Rune Summon Chest, Reinforcement Protection Scroll (+17), Reinforcement Protection Scroll (+16), Coordi Fusion Scroll from the [Happy New Year Gift Bundle].
- Players may find a different 'Faded Note' upon opening the Gift Bundle.

4) Buff Event
- Winter Festival Special Buff (December 31st 06:00 - January 2nd 06:00 (UTC+0))
- Dungeon EXP Bonus 50%, Dungeon GP Bonus 50%, Dungeon Item Drop Rate 30% Increase, Equipment Enhancement Rate 30% Increase, Necklace/Anklet Enhancement Rate 30% Increase
- Event Excluded Dungeons: Nightmare Circus, Monster Train 301, Hungry Pets' Revolt, Moonlight Village, Angry Bosses, Talin's Revenge, King Slime Land, Trial Forest, Trial Tower, Dimensional Portal
- EXP/GP bonus rate applies up to 400%.
- Item drop rate and necklace/anklet enhancement rate increase applies up to 100%.

2. Good Deed Event in Progress (December 18th After Maintenance - January 8th Before Maintenance (UTC+0))
- Players can clear dungeons to collect Good Deed Stamp x2 to increase [Good Deed Progress] to receive Christmas Box.

Christmas Cookie Box x1, Harrier Monster Card Box x3, Another World Monster Card Box x3, Advanced Rune Summon Chest x3, Bonus Recharge x3, Special Reinforcement Release Scroll x1
- Players can progress with [Make a Wish] once they increase Good Deeds 5 times.
- Players can press [Receive Gift] button that activates 12 hours after pressing [Make a Wish] to receive rewards by mail.
- Players will receive rewards based on the number of [Make a Wish] they have completed.
-All [Make a Wish] rewards in progress and unclaimed [Receive Gift] will terminate during maintenance on January 8th (UTC+0). Please make sure to receive all rewards before the maintenance begins.

3. Awaken, GrandChase! Hyperspeed Growth Event in Progress (December 18th After Maintenance - January 8th Before Maintenance (UTC+0))

- Players can select 1 character per account to proceed with the mission during the event period.
- Rewards will vary depending on the character.
- Once a player makes the selection, they cannot change the character anymore. Players must choose the character for the event carefully.
- Players will receive rewards based on the selected character's level growth.
