Red Alert, Captains! We’re pleased to announce Season 11.5 our mid-season update will launch on April 12, 2016. The latest update begins with a brand-new featured episode titled “Temporal Front,” where players must prevent Na’Kuhl Temporal Agents from destroying the Federation. Season 11.5 also brings a complete overhaul to the Skill System, plus other new gameplay updates including the Strategist Secondary Specialization, Romulan Admiralty Campaign and Na’Kuhl Red Alerts.

Today Star Trek Online reaches its sixth anniversary, and everyone at the studio could not be prouder. We know as well as anyone that this is a feat that is rarely achieved, and our thanks go out to the community for their support, feedback, and long-term engagement with Star Trek Online. After a long war and the darkness of midnight, we’re finally ready to see the light with Season 11: New Dawn! We’ve put the past behind us and look towards a brighter future filled with a new story arc, exciting gameplay, updates to existing content, and the return of Chase Masterson as Mirror Leeta.

The Terran Empire had an Iconian War of their own and they’re now on their way to the Prime Universe to take the fight to us. Everyone will have to stand firm and hold the line at Deep Space Nine to keep the Mirror Universe forces under command of Terran Admiral Leeta at bay. With two brand new queues centered in and around Deep Space Nine, and a battlezone that takes place in the Badlands, there will never be a shortage of work to be done. To help you with this task, the Alliance has provided gear for the Terran Taskforce Reputation to keep you and your ship kitted out with the best gear for the job.

The Alliance also wants to get back to their roots and see what they can discover in the far reaches of the Alpha Quadrant. There will be two new story missions, one at launch and one shortly thereafter, that will be the first steps on the journey into a brand new story arc that will run through 2016. This is a great time to get in on the ground floor and enjoy the story all at once as a community.

When you’re not in your command chair captaining your ship through the Alpha Quadrant, you can use the new Admiralty system to send your personal fleet of ships on missions. The strategic and tactical elements of this system will give you a true admiral experience

Last and certainly not least, we’ve completely overhauled the existing Cardassian Arc. There are now four new story missions that show the origins of the True Way and Alpha Quadrant Dominion, as well as the influence of the Terran Empire. This story content will give players a much smoother leveling experience, great rewards, and additional information to give the Star Trek Online story even more depth.

Season 11: New Dawn is overflowing with content, and I can’t wait to see you all in game!
