v0.395 Player progression system added and other improvements.

Version v0.395 is now live.

Player progression system has been added to the game. Player will now get 1 hunter point for every killed enemy. Defeating a worshipper will give player 5 hunter points. Upon reaching certain hunter points thresholds, player will get option to choose between two abilities. For example, you need to earn 5 hunter points to get your first ability. Once players hunter points count reaches 15, player will get a second ability... etc.

Because of this change, there might be issues for players who continue their hunt using save file that was created in older version of a game. So it is recommended to not use continue button and start new hunt on any map you want.

  • Player progression system has been added to the game.
  • New skill called Tracker added to the game. It allows player to spot skinwalker footsteps from a larger distances. (50 meters instead of 33).
  • There's some changes in start spawn logic, to prevent situations when player could start game and get immediately attacked by worshiper.
  • Subtle, mostly visual change to skinwalker totems.
  • (balance change) Worshipers no longer give out new skill. Player will get 5 hunter points for killing it. Player maximum health will be restored and increased by 15 health points upon touching worshipper dead body.
  • Skinwalker health bar animation improved to provide better feedback.
  • (balance change) Wolfs are now a bit bigger.
  • (balance change) Ancestor spirit now restores and increase player maximum health by 10.
  • Fixed bug that to sometimes destroyed skinwalker totem in skinwalker cave.
