Atmospheric composition of The Outside
Due to the discovery of the Tunnel the research park began to increase and expand its scale, continuing its research on the "other side (The Outside)" and SOMA. At this stage, it is still mainly done by sending drones and collecting information.
📍The atmospheric composition of the Outside is almost the same as that of the human world. Except that there is no "oxygen".
📍The compound in its place is the "SOMA" gas.
◆At the right concentration, organisms from the human world can breathe it instead of oxygen.
◆But when the concentration is too high, it can be fatal.
◆Certain time periods and certain areas may suddenly cause the concentration to rise abnormally, and special attention is required.
However, if gas collected from the Outside by the drone returns to the human world, it will trigger a chain reaction of SOMA: sometimes it will explode, and sometimes it will rapidly decompose and dissipate.
Map location data creation
In response to the exploration of the Outside, R.D. Corporation developed the first version of the "S.M.A.P." map system, which gradually constructed the corresponding area and positioning data by the movement of the exploration device. At this time, I found that:

📍But there are differences, there are even environmental composition that originate from different geographical locations that are now connected together.

📍Seemingly as an environmental pattern caused by multiple restructuring
📍The detector does not have visual on any animals, but there are natural sounds and plants coming from all sides.
