The government’s strong helping hand following the Sky Light of Unknown Source - Rosetta Dimension Corporation (hereinafter referred to as R.D. Corporation).
Established in Taiwan, R.D. Corporation is a well-known multinational enterprise whose main business is in the "biotechnology" field. As its businesses expanded, it gradually extended its operations towards other fields of development.
During Sky Light incident, the location of R.D. Corporation’s research facilities, in addition to their expertise in the field, is what prompted the company to swiftly offer support to the government in the form of manpower, material resources, search & rescue assistance.
Working in close collaboration, the government and R.D. Corporation conducted relevant research on recent events.



Discovery of SOMA
Following Sky Light incident, the government worked alongside R.D. Corporation and relevant industry-academic research centers in conducting investigations of the site and discovered an unknown element of mysterious origins in the depths of an abandoned mining pit at the 13-Layer Remains. Not only is it an entirely novel substance but holds immense economic potential. With properly used and developed, it can bring about immense changes to the world. Researchers named it SOMA.
　　
Currently known features of SOMA include:
● Extremely high energy conversion ratio
● Functions as a superconductor or insulator under different conditions and environments
● Collected crystals are highly sublimable

According to research, that the unknown light source and the epicenter were of the same location.
Government officials stated that they had begun to investigate the correlation between the source of the unknown light and the earthquake.
At the same time, Rosetta Dimension Corporation (hereinafter referred to as R.D.) of the private sector, which has established research facilities in the vicinity, proactively reached out to assist the government on emergency rescue and investigation.

Disaster in Northern Taiwan: Unknown Sky Light Erupted fom the Ground, Magnitude 4.8 Earthquake.
　　
Residents in northern Taiwan were astounted by a light pillar that lit up the sky at 11:27 pm, September 10th, 2020. An earthquake with magnitude of 4.8 on the Richter scale soon followed, disrupting the peaceful night. The pillar of light that appeared last night is still present as of today, and is terrorizing the citizens of Northern Taiwan.



According to the latest seismic data from the Central Weather Bureau, the earthquake at 11:27 p.m. on September 10 was a shallow earthquake with a depth of 45 kilometers, the epicenter was located near ShueiNanDong in Ruifang District. The magnitudes on the Richter scale for New Taipei City, Taipei City and Yilan City were 4, while Taoyuan, Hualien, Hsinchu, Taichung, and Nantou experienced magnitude 3 earthquakes.
　　
Netizens raved about the degree of tremor and said that Taipei has not experienced an earthquake of this magnitude in a long time. Furthermore, the mysterious sky light pillar prior to the earthquake made some initially suspect that it was the result of a nuclear plant explosion.
　　
Taipower made an official statement shortly after the incident, that the Taipower North District has sent technicians to the substations and nuclear power plants to confirm that everything is safe and sound, and there is no reason to be worried.
