Banner of the Maid News

Bonjour révolutionnaires! Banner of the Maid was released on May 28th 2019, so this Thursday it will be its first birthday. Hooray! It’s been a great ride so far; we hope this is but the beginning of the road for us, and we definitely wouldn’t have made it this far without you. We want to celebrate this special day with you, so we invite you to join us in broadcasting the game. We will do our own broadcast starting from 3 pm CEST, showing some of the content you can find in A Sailor’s Gossip, the new questline introduced in The Oriental Pirate DLC. And after we’re done, we will be hosting your own broadcasts during the afternoon and evening! If you want to be featured in the Banner of the Maid store page and show your skills as a commander to the rest of the world, follow these instructions. We’ll keep an eye on your broadcasts and host the most interesting ones through the day. See you next Thursday, révolutionnaires!

V1.9 Update

The Oriental Pirate DLC:
Added “A Sailor’s Gossip” quest line to the DLC, which will be unlocked after Chapter 18.
The quest line includes 4 missions that will be gradually unlocked with your main campaign progress.


[new] You’ll be able to find the special MUSYNC cross-over event item in Free Combat: Offensive missions.


[new] You can now switch to Story Mode from Officer Mode in the Options menu.
[change] When you are already in Heroic status, now you can use skills that consume Morale even when you don’t have enough Morale. In this case, the Heroic status will work as 100 Morale.
[change] The defeat conditions of Chapter 3, 5, 8 and 18 are changed. Existing saves during these combats must be restarted to take effect.
[change] skill adjustment:
Intelligence Gathering now provides Attack +1.
Dine now lasts 3 turns.
Tolerance now takes 9 damage at maximum.
Projectile Calculation now lasts 2 turns.
Terrain Advantage now provides Hit Chance +25.
Round Shot Supplement now also increases movement.
[change] When Mu Zhiyun joined your army, a default weapon will now be added to your inventory.
[change] Exiting the trade interface won’t play NPC voices anymore.
[change] You won’t be able to deploy Mu Zhiyun when the DLC is not successfully loaded.
[fix] Fixed the display error of Heroic Attacks when using weapons like Golden-stripe Sidearm.
[fix] Fixed some voice errors in dialogues.
[fix] Fixed some flickering image issues in certain dialogues.
[fix] Fixed a controller issue in the character status interface.
[fix] Fixed the sound effect of fires in some missions.

Mu Zhiyun, the oriental pirate who serves under Ching Shih, sailed across the oceans to Europe with certain purpose.

The DLC contains 5 challenge missions:
1、You can receive the new quest "The Oriental Pirate" in the salon.Complete the mission to be rewarded with funds and items, and unlock a new character: Mu Zhiyun.She leads the Pirates, a new unit equipped with a variety of weapons, have unique skills and seeks treasures on the battlefield.
2、When you finish Chapter 18 of the main campaign, a new quest line "A Sailor's Gossip" will be gradually unlocked. NOTE: You'll need Thérèse in your army to unlock "A Sailor's Gossip, Chapter 3".

The game is updated to v1.8.3

• Fixed a bug that may cause the buff cards selection appears on Turn 2 in certain missions in the Story Mode. (It should always appear on Turn 1)
  

• Fixed a bug that may sometimes cause the rolling credits to freeze.
  

• Fixed a bug that may cause errors in the New Game+ mode while Mu Zhiyun is in your army.
  

• Fixed some voice casting errors.
  

Also, we want to take this chance to let you know that we'll be adding a high-difficulty challenge mission "A Sailor's Tale" to The Oriental Pirate DLC recently. (It should be coming along with the DLC, but we didn't finish it in time because of the coronavirus thing.) Please make sure to keep your save files if you have finished Chapter 25 or the main campaign. Thanks for your understanding!

New Character DLC "The Oriental Pirate" is now available with a 10% discount for a week! When you have finished Chapter 3 of the main campaign, visit the salon and check out the new quest "The Oriental Pirate". Complete the quest to unlock Mu Zhiyun and her pirates.
