You’ll also experience part of the story campaign. Explore at your own pace, repair your truck, discover new areas — and maybe even uncover a few surprises. When you’re done exploring, head back to the garage and try out new customization options you unlocked along the way.[/p][p]This is a great opportunity to experience the core mechanics for free, get a real feel for your truck, and prepare for the full journey ahead. Put your skills to the test and see if you’re ready to conquer these dangerous paths.[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]Wishlist the full game Truck Mechanic: Dangerous Paths so you don’t miss the official release — coming very soon![/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]You’re also welcome to join our Discord community to share feedback, connect with other players, and ask us any questions. Truck Mechanic: Dangerous Paths — Dev Diary #100

[h3]Hello, Truck Mechanics![/h3][p]We've got exciting updates to share! The latest build introduces two major improvements: a brand-new dynamic road deformation system and a revamped truck damage model. Both features work hand-in-hand to make every journey more immersive, challenging, and authentic.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Let's start with the terrain. Roads are no longer just static textures — they'll now react to your driving. As you move across muddy trails, notice the ground slowly deforming under your wheels. The surface compresses, forming visible ruts and grooves that stay behind as evidence of your journey. During rain, this system becomes even more dynamic: roads soften and slightly expand, making the surface wetter and heavier. Your truck may sink a little deeper into the mud and overall feel heavier to control. Once the rain stops, the roads will gradually firm up again, returning to their original state.[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p] [/p][p]At the same time, we've completely reworked the truck damage system. Instead of the binary "broken/fine" part status, damage now accumulates gradually and affects your truck's performance in realistic ways. If the engine takes a hit, you'll start to notice power loss, slower gear changes, or even missing gear stages. Starting the truck may take longer, and keeping speed on steep climbs become more difficult. Wheel and suspension damage now matter just as much: when your wheels wear down, braking efficiency drops, suspension weakens, and steering feels less responsive. In extreme cases, the truck may begin to pull to one side, forcing you to fight the wheel just to stay on track. All these problems can be fixed — repairing damaged parts on the anvil will reduce or completely remove such penalties. But until then, you'll have to adapt your driving, especially on soft, rain-soaked roads where any mistake can make things worse.[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p] All these changes are the result of the impressions you shared with us. They've been among the most requested improvements, so we spared no time in making them a reality.

Truck Mechanic: Dangerous Paths — Dev Diary #99

[h3]Hello, Truck Mechanics![/h3][p][/p][p]As many of you know, we're hard at work improving and expanding our game, so, once again — thank you, everyone, for the feedback shared so far. One of the most frequently raised topics, both in survey responses and user comments, has been the driving model, and we're happy to announce that this long-requested feature is finally being addressed. [/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]We're currently developing an upgraded driving system that makes the experience far more realistic. Wheel behavior will now much closer resemble real life by dynamically reacting to terrain, truck weight, and other driving conditions. Every bump, slope, or tricky maneuver shall feel more authentic, offering more vehicle control but also — extra challenge. This feature has been one of the most requested improvements by the community. We've listened carefully and decided to dedicate additional efforts specifically to bring it to life. Your feedback is what drives us forward, and we're thrilled to deliver on something so many of you have been asking for![/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]Alongside this, we've introduced an upgraded damage system. Instead of relying solely on visual indicators, your truck will now indicate when something's wrong. You might hear creaking sounds originating from stressed parts, feel your truck losing speed, or notice the engine struggling when damage becomes more severe. This feedback loop makes it easier to understand what's happening under the hood and react accordingly.[/p][p] But that's not all! To complement gameplay improvements, we've also completely redesigned the in-game HUD. The new interface is animated, modernized, and streamlined for overall clarity and better quality of life. Every element has been redrawn to suit the project's general direction, making the user interface not only more convenient to use but also more immersive. From essential driving info to contextual prompts, the HUD shall be cleaner, more dynamic, and easier to read in every situation.

All these changes are the result of the impressions you shared with us. They've been among the most requested improvements, so we spared no time in making them a reality.
