Weekly Report #14
Hello!
News from around the world is more and more disturbing, but we try to focus on our work and maybe bring you a little bit of light in these dark times. Today we’ll have a look at the things that are coming up in the game soon and a bit later.
Also, we have a small favour to ask - but first let’s focus on the new stuff.
Lenin Square - a fading memory
So far, we’ve shown you the Amusement Park, playground, and fragments of the estate. But this time we would like to show you the place from a different angle.
Before the disaster, the Lenin Square area was a classic example of postmodern soviet architecture with vast, open spaces in which concrete dominated the landscape leaving only small bits of land for the flora which was still very strictly organized and limited.

Today, during the last 30 years mother nature has been slowly taking back what’s hers. Trees and plants are taking over the place piece by piece. It’s a slow process, but after years of travelling to Chernobyl, we’ve been observing the changes more and more clearly.

Among other things we try to recreate from the Zone when developing Chernobylite, we also pay attention to the flora. The forests, foliage, plants we build our locations with are carefully designed in the way they would greatly reflect the post-apocalyptic mood of the place. Have a look at some screenshots. We hope you like it!
Workshop - a small glimpse of a new place
Do you remember this place from our first trailer? Did you think that it was for the trailer only? Well, it is not ready for the game yet but we are working on this!

It is a very atmospheric place, full of details and hidden stuff. For now, of course, it is only a sneak-peek. You just have to wait for it a little bit more!
Small favour for us
We’re extremely happy that the work we do receives so many positive comments from you and we’re glad for all the feedback we get on our Steam forum. However what is also very very important to us are reviews.

If you like our game, please leave a review on Steam! Let us know what you think of it so that we will know what we should work on more, and what is good and worth exploring further.
We’re making the game for you guys, so share your thoughts in reviews! Thanks a lot!
