Weekly Report #98
Hello Stalkers!
Every day we get a lot of comments about you playing Chernobylite. We’re especially pleased when you write that we’ve effectively scared you. Often you add a screenshot from your favorite spooky location or scenes in the game. But we still didn't have enough: we not only want to read about how spooked you were — we want to see it as well! That's why we spent some time on the internet looking for your reactions to our jumpscares we set on you.

As we sensed, all of you who played Chernobylite for the first time were - to put it mildly - very surprised to see the ghost in the prologue.

But, of course, that wasn't the only thing. Also in the middle of the game there were a lot of moments that made you jump up in your chairs. For example, when this apparition surprised you in the most unobvious place…

alanzoka

...or in an obvious one. ;)

BiddinWar

Or even better: when it appears in the place where it has announced its visit several times.

Our famous dolls also played a modest part in giving you shivers down your spine.

However, of all the scenes, you probably like the one with the wardrobe the most. After your reactions, you can see that this moment effectively scared you.

Well, maybe sometimes even a bit too much…

We hope you had a good time on this trip. Because we are for sure. And you can be sure that in the near future there will be more opportunities to scare you even more.

Weekly Report #97
Hello Stalkers!
In a previous report, we encouraged you to take some photos of your struggles with monsters that we added to the game with the Monster Hunt DLC. As we scour the internet for your creativity, we noticed one thing: you liked our photo mode a lot. We found a lot of your photos on Twitter, Steam and Discord, which only confirm the thesis that we have a very talented community. You especially liked taking photos of the area around the zone and the interiors of buildings. Atmospheric...

We present you selected photos that particularly caught our eye. Of course, we don’t put one's money where one's mouth is — we’ll promote those photos and their authors in our social media channels.

Weekly Report #96
Hello Stalkers!
Halloween is behind us, but with us it lasts all year round. We hope you are having fun building up your base with spooky pumpkins and hunting some very strong monsters in the Zone. On the occasion of the recently released Monster Hunt DLC and the fall expansion, we have a challenge for you. We count on your creativity!
Patch for consoles
Before we move on to the challenge, a short reminder: a large patch for the console version was released last week. The patch fixes, among other things, the problem of broken saves, controller stick drifting, problems with loading texts and other minor bugs. You can read about all the changes and new things here.

However, if you continue to experience problems, please let us know in this form. Work on the hotfix is ongoing.
Hunting!
We spent a few days collecting a package of screenshots, with which we wanted to encourage the undecided to take part in a monster hunt and decorate the base with Halloween decorations. You can find examples of our happy creativity below.

While working on the package, we came up with an idea. We want to combine two things: Monster Hunt and the fact that our community is extremely gifted when it comes to screenshots and virtual photography. You've shown it many times before with your creations that you upload on Steam, and we are very eager to show them to others.

That is why we encourage YOU to keep shooting! Take photos of the monsters from Monster Hunt - how you sneak up on them, fight them, or run away from them. Share your creations on Steam and also on our Discord! We will show the coolest photos to everyone via our social media.

SHOW US WHAT YO GOT AND LET THE HUNT BEGIN!

Steam's Halloween sale is here to fill your library with ghostly games

Steam's annual Halloween sale has risen from the grave once again, with prices on the best PC games that are so low, they're scary. Whether you're in the mood for horror games, or you'd like to play something more Halloweeny than actually scary, Steam likely has a deal on something that would fit the bill, and we've gone ahead and picked out a couple standout bargains.

If you need to get caught up on Resident Evil, there are sales on both Resident Evil VII and Resident Evil Village. Both feature some instant-classic Resident Evil moments and characters, but we can think of far worse ways to spend All Hallow's Eve this year than running away from Lady Dimitrescu and her bloodthirsty daughters. Separately, Resident Evil VII is 67% off, and Resident Evil Village is 33% off. There are also discounts on the various bundles that include both games.

We're as excited as anyone to dive into the dank roguelike depths of Darkest Dungeon II now that it's hit early access, but if you want to find out how the dismal journey began, you can snap up the original Darkest Dungeon on Steam for 80% off the usual price during the Halloween sale. The holidays can be a stressful time, so let your intrepid party of doomed characters shoulder some of the load.

Weekly Report #95 - Monster Hunt
Hello Stalkers!
Happy Halloween! We wish you a spooky week! We don't have any sweets for you, but we've got something much better — new DLC and a free content update! Sit back and pick up your Black Halloween Punch. We're starting a very spooky week…
Autumn Dread Pack
Autumn Dread Pack will give your weapons +10 to fear, even among monsters, and not only by passing a wall of bullets towards them. We are giving you a new pack of skins for all weapons in the game. If you want to send enemies into dust, it's best to do so in the right style.

In the base you will also find several decorations that will put you in the right Halloween mood. The key word is:.....

pumpkin! Sweet, green, radioactive pumpkin.

Will you find them all?
Monster Hunt
Let us move on to the main course. If you thought that fighting monsters was a piece of cake so far, we race to tell you — this will change from now on. Use your skills and knowledge to take part in the hunt for the strongest monsters in the Chernobyl Zone. Each of them is not only stronger and more durable than their predecessors that you have dealt with so far, but also has their own unique skills — read about them carefully to plan your attack... or escape.

Feral Chernohost. It appears in open space. Very fast, which makes it difficult to escape from it when it attacks you in a straight line like a battering ram.

Overgrown Duster. It appears on any flat surface, e.g. a ceiling or a wall. Extremely cunning beast and very fast. After the attack, it quickly changes its position to make it harder to hit.

Ancient Shadow. The toughest competitor of all. At first glance, it moves slowly, like a tank. But when it sees its victim, it can appear in front of it in no time, making it difficult to hit. And once it strikes... it really hurts.

See them in action in the latest Chernobylite Trailer. Feeling spooked? Or maybe you feel the urge to HUNT? ;)
