Patch 0.4.7

[h2]Past Fate Patch 0.4.7 is now live[/h2]

[h3]The latest patch to Past Fate makes some optimization changes for Blackfang Keep area aswell as remakes the look and feel of Blackfang Keep. We have also added upgradeable items where players can upgrade some equipment to even further make them better than they are. This is still experimental and only available for limited selection of gear but will be expanded in the upcoming patches.[/h3]

  • Blackfang Keep has been improved
  • Landscape material changes & optimization
  • Further foliage optimization
  • Further world optimization
  • More quests & quest improvements
  • Areas where players could get stuck and/or clip have been fixed


Player Changes and Improvements
  • Player torch has been changed from default Torch into Light of Solithra, that follows player
  • Slight adjustments for player character's shadows


Gathering and Crafting
  • Upgradeable armor added. The armor that can be upgraded states [Upgradeable] on their name.
  • More craftables and gatherables added


Bugs Fixed
  • Framedrops in Blackfang Keep have been fixed
  • Some community reported bugs & issues fixed
  • Other minor bugs fixed

Patch 0.4.6.0

[h2]Past Fate Patch 0.4.6.0 is now live[/h2]

[h3]Patch 0.4.6.0 brings large improvements to the world. We have been focusing on updating the landscape as well as adding more content towards the exploration aspect of the game. Players who prefer exploring the world can now find more secrets scattered within the world. These secrets include rare enemies with unique loot tables, secret quests as well more treasures![/h3]

[h3]There is also Yule related event that players can find from Newharbor market area.[/h3]

[h3]The latest patch of Past Fate adds Gulskir Swamps with new quests and enemy types.
We have also made more optimization changes mostly for foliage so players should see slight improvement on overall performance.

We have also made other improvements for this patch for example: HUD, Death Realm and overall feel of the game.[/h3]

[h3]The latest patch of Past Fate adds Gulskir Swamps with new quests and enemy types.
We have also made more optimization changes mostly for foliage so players should see slight improvement on overall performance.

  • Gulskir Swamps added. This area can be accessed from Drosus to North
  • New enemy types added (Trolls and Goblins)
  • Foliage optimization
  • Cliffs and landscape got slight visual changes
  • Death Realm has new post processing effect to make it feel like place for spirits
  • Some quests have been slightly adjusted

Patch 0.4.5

[h2]Past Fate Patch 0.4.5 is now live[/h2]

[h3]The latest patch focuses greatly on bug fixes, optimization and feedback sent by the closed and open alpha players.

We have also made improvements to combat, so it will now feel less like turn based during attacks. One handed weapons are now a lot more faster to use and there is less of a animation lock behind attacks. Two-Handed weapons still feel heavy and they also have slight animation lock change.

We have also added some new craftable items especially for cooking and we are improving cooking and alchemy even more with few lesser patches within few weeks.

Also for Halloween season the Messenger's of All Hallows' Eve are back! You can find them on the market square in Newharbor until 6th of November.[/h3]

  • Landscape has been optimized slightly more

  • Elite bandit area has been revamped

  • Newharbor now has proper marketplace, still WIP
  • Some NPC:s got statistical changes
  • More Chests added in Edaria
  • Harvester Merchant added to sell harvested craftables
  • Crouchable ruins added
  • Slight improvements to Drosus area


Player Changes and Improvements

  • UI Improvements
  • Player combat idle animation has been changed to look less unnatural
  • The chosen hairstyle now properly gets saved on Main Menu
  • Combat changes for players. Animations for one-handed weapons feel now less turn-based and have less animation lock feel to them. Two-handed Weapons also have less animation lock feel to them
  • Slight statistical changes
  • More player craftables for cooking
  • Some items had character model skin coming trough, these have been resolved
  • Camera placement has been slightly lowered
  • Stamina consumption has been greatly increased when blocking with shield
  • Some items looked missplaced on player characters, these have been resolved


Bugs Fixed

  • Optimization changes
  • Few player equipment added with more LOD levels
  • Bugs/Issues resolved based by player feedbacks
  • Minor bugs fixed regarding saves
