Augment System Introduction - Day 3!

Hello again friends. Aesop here. It's been a while.

Today I'm going to introduce the third and final augment category: Support. Any idea what the Support category might do? Wow, good guess! The Support category is more focused on providing supportive effects that aid you or your allies, rather than buffing your raw strength. Sounds like it might be pretty strong in team modes.

Let's take a look!

One of the Core Support Augments is Healing Drone. This'll summon a Healing Drone that follows and heals you and your allies after you use your ultimate.

Timing your ult to get the most use out of it coupled with the healing provided by the drones may help you turn the fight in your favor.

Thorn Shackles is a sub augment that causes targets to take increased damage from all sources when immobilized.

Stun your target and have your entire team unload on them. Easy kill secured. The damage buff also works on non-player characters, so Wickeline, Alpha, and Omega will go down easier as well!

Last but not least, Logistics grants Healing Potion(s) based on the number of your alive allies. Potions are dropped on the ground if you have insufficient inventory space, so theres no need to worry about them being lost into the void.

If you like to eat a lot in fights or you find you run out of Mocha Bread quickly, Logistics might be the play for you.

So now you've seen every category for Augments coming to Season 4: Havoc, Fortification, and Support.

There's still a couple augments left for you to see, so stick around and see what else we have in store soon!

PATCH NOTES 0.43.0 - OCTOBER 13TH 2021

Good morning or evening or afternoon everyone! It's your friend Aesop here with another dive into some patch notes. Some tooltips are unable to be changed through a server update resulting in some changes not being applied to the tooltips in this update.

The 0.43.0 Update will be applied to each server through an approximate 1 hour of maintenance free distribution starting from October 13th 19:00 (PT).

Augment System Introduction - Day 2!

It's your friend Aesop here to introduce a brand new Augment category: Fortification.

If you guessed that Fortification augments give you some defensive synergies then.. well.. you'd be right.

Though innately defensive, Fortification augments aren't just to reduce your damage taken - they can help you deal some hits too.

Augments should also be able to carve out better, more defined, roles in Team Modes, granting you more agency, power, and of course, skill expression as a member of a team. Smart tactics are always a surefire way to win.

First off: Ironclad. Using a Weapon Skill makes you Ironclad, reducing your damage taken and granting you Tenacity for its duration.

With this augment, your weapon skill helps you counter 100 to 0 combos! Or extra defense when you're running away with a classic Moving Reload.

Dedicated tanks in team modes in particular benefit from this - jus try not to get caught out before you learn your weapon skill..

If you're going up against an Ironclad, try baiting out the weapon skill first before you blow all your skills on them!

Steadfast: Take less damage when immobilized.

For all of those who like to walk near walls when you're next to Cathy or Hyunwoo.

Dulled Blades: Upon receiving critical strike damage, take less damage from critical strikes in the next few seconds.

Don't want to try and build critical damage reduction this game? Dull their blades! Or really really pile on that crit reduction and ruin that Fiora's spear.

How's it look so far? I'm sure a lot of you have already started theorycrafting some stuff!

Next up we'll have some yummy Support augments, so stick around for that and don't touch that dial!
