Unstable Server and [0.23.0 Update] Bug Fixes

The changes went live without maintenance.
1. Unstable Server Issues
• We have been working on fixing the bug when dead characters were able to attack through an update that doesn’t require maintenance.
 • Due to this, some matching issues occurred on our battle server.
 • We rolled back to the previous server state, which didn’t require maintenance.
 • This was not a code error, but rather a build error occasionally occurs. (This happens when we push the test build into the live build and an error occurs during copy)
 • We will come up with a way to avoid these kinds of build errors when pushing updates without maintenance.
2. What we’re focusing on solving through today’s update:
• Downed characters will not be able to attack.
 • Sissela will attack and take damage properly when in a restricted area
 • Knockbacks will correctly work.
 • Various other small things that are quick fixes.

Lenox skill preview (Coming 01.06)

Hello Lumia survivors! GM Ruthless here with a few announcements! First off, let's take a look at the skills for Lenox.
Auto-attack
She's got a sharp bite, so watch out for her fangs! Here's a quick preview:
Passive: Bait and Tackle
Bait:
Lenox gets extra items, excluding weapons, every time she fishes.

Tackle:
Every few seconds, normal attacks grant Lenox a shield that absorbs damage in relation to her max HP.
Q > Recoil
Lenox whips a circle area around her, dealing damage to enemies. She deals extra damage based on her max HP at the edge. Hitting an enemy grants her a stack, reducing the cooldown of coil per stack.
W > Snakebite
Lenox whips twice, once in a circle around her, dealing damage and slowing enemies. Following that, she will attack in a straight line, dealing damage and silencing enemies.

Hitting an enemy with the second part of her skill increases her movement speed.
E > Whiplash
Lenox sweeps her whip in an area around her, dealing damage and pushing or pulling enemies, depending on the direction of the skill. Enemies hit are slowed.
R > Blue Viper
Lenox quickly attacks twice in an X shape, dealing damage and applying Blue Viper.

Blue Viper: For a certain amount of time, enemies take damage depending on how far they move. Hitting an enemy with both attacks deals more damage depending on how far they move.
New Weapon Skill: Grappling Whip
Lenox is the first character to be able to use a whip as her weapon type. A new weapon requires a new skill!

Snap your whip in the targeted direction, dealing damage and pulling enemies toward you.

Lenox will be slithering around Lumia Island this coming Wednesday, so watch out before you turn into her fish and chips!

Steam disallows larger file sizes, so the quality of the .GIFs has been modified accordingly.

[New Character] Lenox 3D Model

She's finished stringing her fishing pole and has got her bait ready! It's just a matter of time now before Lenox take to the island. Check it out:

That...fishing pole is looking pretty sharp, wouldn't you say?

Her jacket is adorned with a stellar snake seal, perhaps she's ready to take out all the rats on Lumia Island.
Lenox is still looking for the perfect fishing spot on the island. Once she finds it and settles in, she'll be ready to join the others.

If you've got any speculations on what her skills might do or just want to share your excitement for her release, cast into our Discord or Twitter and let us know!
