HAPPY HALLOWEEN!



Good day to our beloved community and to our guests!

This year you will find a major and interesting update with many changes and new products. Reworking of some key points, as well as a number of innovations, will allow you to get a new gaming experience. According to the good old tradition, gifts, Easter eggs and an event await you. But that’s not all 😉

Innovations:
  • All players were given gifts: 33 Coins, 100 SKULLS (new event currency), 23 M61 Grenades, 23 Bumblebees, 23 First Aid Kits, 23 Molotov Cocktails, 100 Pumpkins;
  • A festive themed event has started in the game, in which you can receive a “HALLOWEEN” badge as a reward and a choice of weapons (PP91 KEDR, SIG P226, HK416, ABAKAN, VSK-94, PKP from the new edition “GHOSTY”), masks (ANONYMOUS, FRANKENSTEIN, GHOST, SCREAM, BAT, 13), icons (BAT, GHOSTS, HAND, SMILE, ZOMBIE, PUMPKIN) and skins (DOOMGUY, ISAAC). This time we decided to abandon the usual seasonal event in the “Mini BP” style and completely reworked its mechanics. Now you have the opportunity to farm the event currency “SKULLS”, for which you will be able to buy items of your choice not only from this year’s event, but also old themed or unique items. The event is divided into 2 parts. To complete the entire event, you need to make purchases in the event store using the new SKULLS currency. It is not necessary to buy all items. To complete the first part, you need to buy 10 out of 12 items, and to complete the second part, 15 out of 18. When you complete each part, you will receive unique DUMGUY and ISAAC skins as a reward. The second part of the event, by the way, will not be available immediately after purchasing the required number of items. To unlock it you still need to wait until November 6th. All “SKULLS” will disappear after the event, but don’t worry. After completing the event completely, you will have access to the ANTIQUE SHOP. The new event currency is farmed by completing quests or killing players and zombies on servers. The event will last until November 19 (23/59/59 Moscow time);
  • The “ANTIQUE SHOP” event store has been added, which will offer interesting offers during various events. It will be possible to purchase items in this store only for “SKULLS”;



  • New themed skins have been added to the game: DUMGUY, ISAAC;
  • Weapons from the “GHOSTY” edition have been added to the game: PP91 KEDR, SIG P226, HK416, ABAKAN, VSK-94, PKP;
  • Thematic masks have been added to the game: ANONYMOUS, FRANKENSTEIN, GHOST, SCREAM, BAT, 13;
  • Thematic icons have been added to the game: BAT, GHOSTS, HAND, SMILE, ZOMBIE, PUMPKIN;
  • All new items from the event will be available for purchase after 1 year;
  • Weapons STRIKER, RSh-12 have been added to sale;
  • Old themed items from previous years have been added to the sale;
  • In the ANTIQUE SHOP you can buy skins and weapons from the SURVIVAL edition: Anaconda, Kriss Vector, AK47, Asval, AA-12, Machete, Dwight (skin), Claire (skin), Zombie Boss (skin);
  • A new damage mechanics from distance has been implemented. All weapons now have an EFFECTIVE and MAXIMUM firing range. The menu indicates the EFFECTIVE firing range. The MAXIMUM range is always 2 times the EFFECTIVE range. What is the difference between these options? EFFECTIVE range - the distance at which the weapon causes its maximum damage (which is indicated in the performance characteristics), but when firing at a distance exceeding the EFFECTIVE damage will drop down to 0 (at the MAXIMUM range);
  • New maps have been added to the game: AQUIUM(Battle), HIMALIA(Battle), SLUMS(Contra), MIDTOWN(Contra), MILITECH(Contra), NUK2(Contra), MONO2(Contra), POOL2(Contra), MANSHION2(Contra) , BERN(Contra), OASIS(Contra), SANATORIUM(Contra), OVERLORD(Contra), DIRE(GunGame), WAFFLE FRONT(Massacre), RESERVOIR(Survival), SILENCE(Survival). Map authors have already received rewards before the update was released;
  • Added Animal Easter Eggs and two types of classic Easter Eggs. Easter eggs will be in the game until November 6 (23/59/59 Moscow time). There is no use searching on private servers! Details on Easter eggs can be found in the changelog;
  • Ghosts have been added to the game, for destroying which players receive experience. For the Boss Ghost, you can receive a reward in the form of 1000 experience and 1000 coins, which are divided between the players who attacked him in proportion to the damage caused (the Boss Ghost has 250,000 HP). Ghosts can be destroyed with consumables and weapons from the editions “CURSED BONES”, “BLOODY HALLOWEEN”, “SCARY HALLOWEEN”, “GHOSTY”. It is useless to search on private servers, Zombie and Massacre modes! Ghosts will be in the game until November 6 (23/59/59 Moscow time). Details on Ghosts can be found in the changelog;
  • The grenades received a tracer;
  • Promotions have been launched for the purchase of coins and items from some seasons until November 19 (23/59/59 Moscow time).


Changes:
  • The design of the game has changed to festive. The background in the game menu, as well as the loading screen, have been updated. Night has fallen on the servers, and pleasant music is playing on the menu. Pumpkins replaced M61 grenades and command blocks;
  • Changes have been made to missions for various events. For a long time, players have been asking us to improve this aspect of the game for events, because... Not everyone understood what “compound missions” were and how they worked, and the complexity of some missions was very high. We decided to abandon “composite missions” in the event, and also removed some irrelevant missions and changed their overall difficulty;
  • A number of weapons have been reworked to accommodate the new mechanics of damage from distance.
  • As many have noticed, for some shotguns not only the firing distance has changed, but also the damage;
  • Players have been asking us to improve the skins for a long time. We decided to look into this issue and review some key points. If we highlight the most important positions, then these are:
  • Refusal of individual resists to seasonal weapons;
  • Reduced resistance to firearms and bladed weapons;
  • Increased resistance to consumption;
  • Updating weapons with skin boosts.
  • In accordance with these changes, the characteristics of some weapons also underwent changes, which you will learn about below. You may have noticed some changes earlier when it came to shotguns. Due to changes in the skins themselves, prices for some items have been changed. Because Resistance from firearms was weakened, the need for such high damage for weapons was no longer necessary, and therefore we reduced the damage for weapons that kill with 1 shot to the head or body and made changes to some other types of weapons.
  • The models of almost all consumables in the game have been replaced (except for first aid kits). The mechanics of some consumables have been improved;
  • Restrictions have been introduced on the use of consumables depending on the mode:
  • Battle mode: Bumblebee, Mortar, GP, RPG-7, M202A1, First Aid Kit S, First Aid Kit M, First Aid Kit L, M61, MK3, M18, RKG-3, Molotov, M7A2, Stielhandgranate, TNT, Anti-Personnel Mine, C4;
  • Contra Mode: Bumblebee, GP, RPG-7, First Aid Kit S, First Aid Kit M, First Aid Kit L, M61, MK3, M18, Molotov, Stielhandgranate, TNT, C4;
  • Zombie Mode: Bumblebee, GP, RPG-7, M202A1, First Aid Kit S, First Aid Kit M, First Aid Kit L, M61, MK3, M18, Molotov, M7A2, Stielhandgranate, TNT, Anti-Personnel Mine, C4;
  • Massacre mode: First Aid Kit S, First Aid Kit M, First Aid Kit L;
  • Survival mode: Bumblebee, GP, RPG-7, M202A1, First Aid Kit S, First Aid Kit M, First Aid Kit L, M61, MK3, Molotov, M7A2, Stielhandgranate;
  • Improved Zombie mode. Now zombies in this mode move faster and jump higher. In addition, zombies received regeneration. Due to these changes, we are in no hurry to add new maps to the game for this mode. We will gradually refine it and optimize the cards for new mechanics. These mode settings are test ones. Subject to change;
  • In Survival mode, the timer before the game starts has been reduced from 120 to 30 seconds;
  • Increased the size of weapon icons in KILLOG;
  • Improved Mutagen mode. Commands have been removed. Everyone plays for themselves. Spawn points have been reworked. Number of frags required to change map = 500;
  • Maps improved or updated: SLUMS (Anarchy), MIDTOWN (Anarchy), FACTORY (Contra), A QUIET PLACE (Zombies);


All types of Easter eggs have been reworked.
  • The chance of Easter eggs appearing now depends on the number of players on the server (key values are 5, 8, 10, 12 players on the server). Minimum chance of appearance with 5 players. Maximum chance of appearance with 12 players or more;
  • The chance of Easter eggs appearing from 4% (with 5 players on the server) to 20% (with 12 or more players on the server);
  • The chance of large Easter eggs appearing from 4% (with 5 players on the server) to 20% (with 12 or more players on the server);
  • The chance of small Easter eggs appearing from 10% (with 5 players on the server) to 50% (with 12 or more players on the server);
  • Mechanics of Easter Egg Animals - one of the players turns into an Easter Egg, and the rest begin hunting for him! The transformed one's task is to survive in order to receive a reward of 250 coins. If you fail to survive, the reward will be divided among the hunters in proportion to the damage caused. You have 5 minutes to hunt. If the map changes during the event, no one receives a reward. Easter eggs will spawn in all modes except Zombie mode;
  • Mechanics of Big Easter Eggs - disappear 60 minutes after their appearance, and the reward of 500 coins is divided between players in proportion to the damage caused. Whoever kills the Easter egg will receive an additional bonus: 20 grenades, 20 bumblebees, 20 mk3, 20 m202! Easter eggs will spawn in all modes;
  • The mechanics of Little Easter Eggs - they disappear 30 seconds after they appear, and you can get from 5 to 15 coins from them. Easter eggs will spawn in all modes;
  • Easter eggs are no longer tied to a time frame, as was the case in past years, when Easter eggs could appear exactly at 00, 10, 20, etc. minutes of every hour. Different types of Easter eggs can appear on the same server at the same time, but Easter eggs of the same type cannot appear more than once every 5 minutes. Easter eggs cannot appear if there are less than 5 players on the server. The chances of occurrence are indicated above. The time between the appearance of Easter eggs is calculated randomly;


Ghosts have been reworked.
  • Chance of spawning Ghosts = 100% and Boss Ghost = 15%. Ghosts can only appear when there are 5 or more players on the server;
  • Ghosts are no longer tied to a time frame, as they were in past years, and can appear at any minute of every hour, but only once per hour.


Corrections:
  • Fixed some icons in KILLOG;
  • Other minor fixes.


In the coming days, several small updates with corrections and improvements are possible.
