Each brigade can be associated with 4 regiments, 3 senior officers and 4 centurions

A Kentarchos gains +10 merit points per month.
With 700 merit points, they can be promoted to either a Bandophoroi or a Oikonomos

A Bandophoroi or Oikonomos gains +16 merit points per month
With 1,000 merit points, they can be promoted to a Domestikos

A Domestikos gains +25 merit points per month.

Under the imperial administrative system, there is a special mechanism for emperors, who can form brigades. Each official position in a brigade has a certain influence on its associated battalions. A brigade can be linked to up to 4 battalions at most, and each battalion is directly under the command of a Kentarchos

The abilities of a Kentarchos only modify the battalion directly linked to them
For every point of the Kentarchos's Administration, maintenance costs decrease by 1%
For every 2 points of the Kentarchos's Military, attack efficiency increases by 1%

Other officials provide modifications to all battalions
For every 3 points of the Bandophoroi, the morale of all battalions increases by 1%
For every 2 points of the Oikonomos's Administration, maintenance costs of all battalions decrease by 1%
For every 4 points of the Domestikos's Administration, maintenance costs decrease by 1%
For every 4 points of the Domestikos's Military, attack efficiency increases by 1%

All expenses of the imperial regiments shall be borne by the emperor.
Military commanders of the themes do not need to pay any military expenses.
