Small bugfix

Hi everyone! Embarrassingly, last night's patch caused a tiny bug - entering the card collection screen would switch your client to save slot #2. This should be fixed in the tiny update we just pushed live.

Apologies! We'll make up for it by pushing some extremely excellent updates soon.

Thank you for your continued patience,

Patch 1.086 is live!

Hello! We just pushed 1.086 live, a small patch that improves a few things from v1.085:

Improvements:
  • You can now right-click to play notes.
  • Added separate volume sliders for trombone and airhorns in the Settings menu.
Bugfixes:
  • Changing screen ratios in the settings menu should now make the homescreen adjust properly.
  • Fixed a few small areas where things displayed oddly at the 16:10 ratio.
  • Users who use mods should be now be able to view the ending of the game. For reasons that are still unclear, one or more mods would unlock the "trombone champ" achievement early, which prevented users from reaching the ending. Some code has been rearranged, and now it should be impossible to get the achievement early.

This update shouldn't significantly affect any mods, except mods that adjust the settings menu + in-game controls. Please head to your mod communities to grab updates for any mods that need updating!

Much bigger updates are in the works... thank you for your patience!

v1.085 is live!

v1.085 is now live! This update:

  • Adds support for 16:10 resolutions, which should make the game a lot nicer on a lot of laptops!
  • Adds the ability to choose a random track in the Track Select screen!
  • Adds a new track: "The Celebrated Chop Waltz," also known as "Chopsticks!"
  • Optimizes how notes are drawn and removes the tiny gap that appears in long connected notes!
  • Lots of additional tweaks and improvements scattered around!

Please note: This update substantially changes how songs are loaded, and if you're using mods to load in custom songs, you will almost definitely need to update them! We've been sharing these updates with key members of the modding community early, so they can be ready with patches.

Why does this patch substantially change how songs are loaded?... Because we have some very big updates that we hope to launch soon... Hope to be able to share them soon!
