Localization Round 1: SOON 🔜

Hi goblins!

We're real excited to announce that, coming very soon, you'll be able to play Tenderfoot Tactics in any of the following languages:

• Simplified Chinese
  
• Spanish (Latin America)
  
• Portuguese (Brazil)
  
• German
  
• French
  
• Russian

We're still pulling things together, but all of the above languages other than Russian are available on the beta branch, which you can get access to through our Discord (which also has feedback channels, which is why we send folks there first). If you're bilingual and could offer help, we'd love to catch any issues before setting things live.

Localization has been way more of a challenge than anticipated (this is our first time) so I hope people like it! I've learned a lot and built some tools, so for nextgame this will be much faster and less painful. And of course, adding new languages to Tenderfoot Tactics will be a breeze! We just don't have a ton of money and so couldn't afford to do too many languages all at once. But hopefully these translations help fund more! So if you have a language you'd like to request, let us know.

PS while we're not ready to announce anything just yet, we've also been working on nextgame, and I can say that so far the nextgame team is the Tenderfoot team + 1, and I can say that it's cool as hell and you're gonna love it. So uh keep an eye on us wherever eyes can be kept. I've got a mailing list I'll definitely hit (and that I basically never use otherwise), and it will very likely be another Ice Water Games joint, so if you keep up with IWG you shouldn't miss it. We'll be real loud, when it's time.
