[p]A big update to Celtreos!

[/p]
UI Updates
[p]There are new bidirectional rocker buttons in several panels, typically as “-/+” buttons.  These take up less space but also consolidate focus so it is more efficient to traverse controls using game controllers or the keyboard.  In most cases these new buttons enable moving in multiple directions through settings that previously could only be traversed one-way![/p][p]Certain panels now support 3-way focus so that a single focus-switch action allows 3 different buttons to be simultaneously used.  For example, it is now possible to focus all volume controls at once and have easy access to the ON/OFF switch, the “-” decrementing button and the “+” incrementing button, using different game controller buttons or keyboard keys.[/p][p]Game controllers now require the use of lower triggers such as R2 when they previously used other buttons (e.g. action buttons often used “A” but now use “R2”).  This change was necessary to enable the 3-way action mentioned earlier.[/p][p]Many animations have been tweaked in the UI, such as the transitions between main-screen panels in the mobile version.  In general, the UI will feel a bit more responsive!  A minor bug showing the initial game-controller or keyboard focus, after switching panels, has been fixed.[/p][p]The main menu’s “?” screen (About/Help) now has a link to the official YouTube page.[/p][p][/p]
Song Updates
[p]The following songs have been enhanced: “Assignment”, “Diminution”, “Establishment”, “Evacuation”, “Evasion” and “Flow”.[/p][p][/p]
Gameplay Updates
[p]A number of in-game animations and effects have been tweaked, as well as some in-game artwork.  Some gameplay has also been modified, such as new “broken ring” mechanics for enemies that fire projectiles in a circular pattern.[/p]

[p]A big update to Celtreos!

[/p]
New “Lancer” Weapon
[p]A new weapon “Lancer” has been added to the Devastator Series, and it can also be used in custom arrays.  This means that the 5 main Series now all have unique opposing-movement weapons (instead of Magnetic Mine being present in two of them).[/p][p]This weapon is fast, shoots primarily in the opposite direction that you move your ship, and it will start to seek enemies after a short time.[/p][p][/p]
UI Updates
[p]A number of improvements to UI elements have been made, including a tweaked mouse-hover effect, and checkbox labels are now focusable/clickable and can activate their associated setting.  Various web-link-style buttons work better than before, and a minor French localization issue was fixed in one of them.[/p][p]A water-rippling warp animation has been added to the light reflections in the “Last Stand” stage.[/p][p]The recently-added Relative Touch Controls setting no longer adds a small X-offset to the ship position when on mobile devices.  (This offset remains if the mode is turned off though.)[/p][p][/p]
Song Update
[p]The “Evasion” song (used in the “Planetary Approach” stage) has been updated.[/p]

[p]The next Celtreos patch is live!

[/p]
New Setting “Relative Touch Controls”
[p]On mobile, this setting changes the behavior of touches so that the initial touch is ignored and any subsequent finger movements are relative to that point.  This emulates the behavior of some other games, which may be more familiar for some people.[/p][p][/p]
Performance Improvements
[p]Tweaks to in-game performance continue, to try to achieve the best possible frame rates![/p][p][/p]
Other Tweaks
[p]Fixed a localization issue that could cause text to overrun in the trophy display.  Minor updates to the app icon.  Minor tweaks to certain text spacing in the UI, as well as shadow effects.  Minor changes to a couple of in-game animations.[/p]

Updated to 1.97

[p]The next Celtreos patch is live!

[/p]
New Setting “Quick Game”
[p]This setting shortens every stage of the game (e.g. by removing certain wall sections and enemy spawns), for quicker play-throughs!  Note that if you use this mode, some Achievements and scoring objectives may be harder to obtain.[/p][p]On mobile, this setting can also be toggled by new short-cut commands in the menu attached to the game’s home screen icon.[/p][p][/p]
More Dynamic Text
[p]Although version 1.96 added support in the vast majority of the game for multiple text sizes, version 1.97 expands this even more.  Buttons, Achievement text and other in-game status text will now respect your small/normal/large text size preference.[/p][p][/p]
Bug Fixes
[p]Fixed a bug that could cause invincibility to last for longer than intended.  Minor tweaks to a few animations.  Fixed cases where music would restart from the beginning when the same song was already playing, e.g. if reentering the ship editor after recently exiting it.[/p]
