An incredible 2024 for us is coming to an end!



The introduction of the highly anticipated cross-platform mod support with this year’s Autumn Update has brought the amazing community closer together than ever before. To top it off, we celebrated the highest number of concurrent players since release five years ago. Seeing your continued love for Transport Fever 2 after all this time fills us with an immense amount of joy.

To thank you for this year we wanted to do something truly special — something we’ve never done before.

As visible in the frosty image above, our incredible art team has created the beautiful "Holiday Train", now available as a free download on mod.io for PC and all current-gen consoles to further support cross-platform modding - steam workshop to follow soon.

But that’s not all: you’ll also find a small surprise waiting for you in your steam library — a brand-new maintenance patch for Transport Fever 2, addressing the most reported issues of the past few months (consoles version is slightly delayed due to holidays at the console manufacturers).

And wait… there’s one more thing! Remember that something new and great we teased in our last post? While we can’t share the exact date just yet, we can tell you this: the day of the big announcement is closer to this Holiday post than it is to the one in 2025...

It still feels a bit like a dream that in the last five years more than 1.5 million players in 200+ countries have joined this one of a kind journey inspired by you, our amazing community.

Your passion, creativity, and support have made for so many unforgettable moments . Together, we’ve built more than just transport networks - we’ve built a global Transport Fever family.

Here’s to the adventures we’ve shared, the memories we’ve created in Transport Fever 2 and to something great and new coming.

How to Enter:

• Capture your best in-game screenshots
  
• Post your number one screenshot using the hashtag #TransportFever2ScreenshotContest on one of the following social media: Instagram, Facebook or X. Alternatively, you can share a link to a Steam screenshot here
• Deadline: 27.10.2024 23:59 CEST
  

Rules:

• Only 2 screenshots per person
  
• No post-production (Photoshop, GIMP etc.)
  
• Mods can be used, but only if they are publicly available before 17.10.2024 CEST – for this image we used the mod: Environment Pack
  

The Urban Games artist team will select the top three winners by 30.10.2024 CEST. The top 3 screenshots will be featured and officially posted on our social media on 31.10.2024 CEST.
