Hotfix Update v1.2.4

Hello Admirals,

The inconsistent "blocked" shell hits were fixed thanks to the continuous reports by kind players and the very helpful feedback of YouTuber "BrotherMunro". So we had to offer this small update.

*Hotfix Update v1.2.4*
- Fixed a long standing problem that caused shell hits to be blocked in unarmored surfaces or not be checked fully and thus resulting in an internal game exception = block.
- Increased the base deck penetration slightly.
- Battle AI adjustments to follow the new improvements.

Small Update v1.2.3 R

Hello everyone,

After your recent reports, we decided to offer another set of game improvements which are the following:

*Small Update v1.2.3 Repaired*
  • Improved gun fire control, addressing remaining targeting issues. Now the guns should fire from both sides very effectively, while the fps performance during combat should be increased.
  • Penetration mechanics further improvements and balance. The estimation should match more to the data of the penetration tables, but please note that the data is indicative and should not be granted as a norm during combat, due to the many variables involved.
  • Alliance mechanics improvement so that an urgent alliance is formed against a common enemy, so that there are no more unstable, individual wars against a major alliance, which caused bugs in land battle and blockade mechanics. For example, previously Germany and Austria could have an alliance and Britain and France could fight against them but Britain and France were not in an alliance, creating many illogical happenings in the campaign. With this improvement, the alliance window in the upper left corner should always update promptly with the nations involved in a major war. This fix needs a new campaign to apply fully, and cannot repair issues of an ongoing campaign.
  • Improved campaign mechanics so that nations will not dissolve so easily due to losing an amount of their home provinces and also the nations that reappear should now not disappear the next turn, if they have no port yet.
  • Campaign's economy should now be more demanding after increasing ship maintenance.

  • Fixed submarines over 3000 tons to not consistently work in the game interface.
  • Various other minor fixes and improvements.

EDIT:
- Temporarily Reverted: Fixed a bug that caused extra damage to ships after a battle. because it caused some errors to UI.
- Fixed minor text localization error in Submarines building window.

Hotfix Update v1.2.2 R

Dear Admirals,

We provide the following fixes and improvements with goal to be the last set of urgent hotfixes after the full release.

*Hotfix Update v1.2.2*
- Fixed some temporary text errors caused by the localization base we added in the previous patch.
- Improved Peace treaty mechanics so that when a nation loses a war and asks for peace, then all other enemies are informed with an event, and reparations are shared according to the VP advantage. War reparations will not be granted if a member of the winning alliance had less VP than the enemy.
- Adjusted fuel consumption formula in battle to work more dynamically, according to cruising speed.
- Shared designs can now be deleted from the game's interface.
- Now nations without a port will dissolve, fixing previous issues when a major nation could still have fleets and ship production but without any port left.
- Further aiming smoothing according to range.
- Some other minor fixes.

If a game breaking bug is reported to us, we will try to address promptly, else we will have to pause the very frequent patching and provide in a few weeks the next major patch which will have the new hulls and weather environments.

Hotfix Update v1.2.1

Hello everyone,

The new update handles all recent complaints about the penetration mechanics, which are now improved in all aspects. Other changes make the game even more stable and enjoyable.

*Hotfix Update v1.2.1*
- Radical update on the penetration mechanics, taking into consideration more accurately the shell's muzzle velocity and gun caliber.
- Improvement on the penetration mechanics related to the Citadel. When a citadel layer is bypassed but not fully penetrated, there will be a guaranteed partial penetration. When hitting non-citadel sections there is a more proper penetration check.
- Fixed critical overflow bug that caused huge increase of the population and army for a province of a reappearing nation.
- Fixed bug that made shipbuilding capacity to not update when suspending a refit or a construction.
- Fixed bug that caused false angle warning for centerline guns, in some rare occasions.
- Fixed a sorting issue of the fleet management window.
- Fixed visual bugs for fog, reflections and skybox.
- Aiming fine tuning so that close range fire is more smoothly enhancing the accuracy bonus.
- Further Battle AI Balance
- Further auto-design optimizations.

Hello Admirals,

Another update is made for you. Please read:

*Hotfix Update v1.2*
- Rebalance of Funnel Capacity provided by various technologies so that the late tech engines, fuel types can provide a better engine efficiency, especially the Gas Turbines. Engine costs are also balanced accordingly and this will affect your designs.
- Fixed inconsistent gun ranges after saving a ship. Now the gun ranges should work correctly and all the related values of accuracy and penetration at all ranges.
- Smoke obstruction reduction added to some late tech destroyer towers that were missing it.
- Improved Auto-Design funnel usage.
- Fixed a false positive overweight condition caused by crew.
- Fixed exit button in Ship Design interface not working in rare cases.
- Fixed a tower placement error caused in rare cases.
- Fixed a minor sorting issue in Battle stats.
- Other minor fixes.

Furthermore, you should notice a fps increase in battles and in the design processes, especially when you edit gun caliber and length of barrels.
