Development Log - v2020.4.3

This week have sadly not been too productive in terms of game development and I therefore haven't made much progress on the game itself.
However, besides other stuff, I got started on a new way of spawning fireworks in the game, so it's easier and fast to place objects in the game.

Lets see how it turns out, as I'm not done with it yet, hoping to have more to show next week :)

- Enjoy!

Development Log - v2020.4.2 part 2

This is a fairly short dev log this time, as I haven't had much time for game development in the past week.

However, I managed to make some important improvements for the Fuse Connection Tool that makes it so much easier to use.

Hope I get a little more stuff done next week :)

- Enjoy!

Development Log - v2020.4.2

In this dev log I go over my progress made in the past week.

Mainly I have been focusing on trying out to get a new fuse connecting tool to work.

It doesn't fully work yet - but I'm working on it :)

- Enjoy!

Development Log - v2020.4.1

This week I managed to play around with fire, create a new piece of fireworks and record some new sounds for the game.

I haven't recorded sounds for the game like this before, but I think it turned out pretty good, as the Physics Tool and the Flashlight now both have an on/off click sound.
Besides that, I also recorded some other sounds as you can see in the end of the video - but these I haven't actually used yet.

I also tried out some fire and explosion effects this week. Please note that the fire showed in this video is not really implemented in to game yet - it's just to try it out and see how it looks - and to be honest it looks pretty nice.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the dev log below, let me know what you think in the comments :)

- Enjoy!

Development Log - v2020.3.1

Fireworks Mania is moving a long and I am trying out different things to figure out what works and what doesn't.

The demo will not be updated for a while, as I'm focusing 100% on the full game now. This also means that all the stuff you see here is "work in progress" and some of it might not end up in the full game and will not get into the demo for sure.

This time around I created a model for the "Physics Tool" + added a new tool to try out an idea.

Enjoy the dev log and let me know in the comments what you think.
