Raid Asset Preload, More Fixes

BALANCE
  • All spell ranges reduced from 2000 to 1500.
  • Orias - Menace: Now gains 40% of Max Stamina as Max Health, down from 50%.
  • Blinking behind a spider will now stop their charge.
IMPROVED
  • Consecration is now less smoky.
  • Burning Spell Effect: New Icon.
  • Footstep default volume reduced by 50%.
  • World Map darkened slightly.
FIXED
  • Potential fix for Alchemist not working in Public games.
  • Fixed Blood and Sweat causing you to take damage to Health from successful Blocks.
  • Fixed Firefly corpses being the heaviest object in the universe.
  • Fixed Dying Wish showing incorrect cooldown values in the shop.
  • Fixed incorrect boots showing on main menu while using MTX.
  • Fixed the damage reduction from Menace not working for clients in multiplayer.
  • Fixed host migration kicking in some unnecessary cases.
  • Fixed shields rolling higher block chance than intended in some cases.
OTHER

This patch contains many assets that will be used in the upcoming raid content. These won't be accessible in this patch, but downloading them now will make the new Raid content updates in the following weeks much smaller and get you into the action faster.

Photo Mode, Tips Menu, Buffs, Fixes

NEW

  • Press P to enter Photo Mode
  • Press G to enter Gallery
  • Photo Mode is accessible from the Radial Menu (Middle Mouse/Right Stick Button by default)
  • All screenshots are saved to (Rune Knights Folder)/Saved/Screenshots/Windows/.
[h2]Tips Menu[/h2]
Game tips are now available from the main menu.
BALANCE
  1. Bladecrest now deals 30% combined weapon damage, previously this was 30% the damage of the weapon used for the attack.
  2. All poisons now stack up to 20 times, up from 10.
  3. Bosses can no longer start a special attack during a hitstun. Special attacks will start once a hitstun has finished.
IMPROVED
  • Footstep sounds are now dynamic based on the material being walked on.
CHANGED
  • Lock Camera now defaults to L.
FIXED
  • Fixed 2H explicit mods not doubling the bonus from Enhancement. Weapons affected by this bug will have their explicit mods automatically increased to the appropriate level.

Host Migration Update

NEW

[h2]Host Migration[/h2]
If the host in a multiplayer game crashes or loses connection, a new host will be selected (based on best connection) and the remaining party members will automatically attempt to rejoin the game, which will be recreated in a similar state. This new game will be publicly joinable and the previous host (or any other players) will be able to rejoin from the Find Game menu.

New Skill: Divine Hammer, Phase Roll Buff, World Map Improvements, Fixes

NEW
  • New 1H Melee Skill - Divine Hammer: Create a divine hammer that spirals around you. Deals 50% Main Weapon Damage on hit. Generates 300% threat. Each hammer lasts 10 seconds. Hammers are destroyed on meditation.
  • Patch Notes are now available in-game from the main menu next to the game version info.
  • New Gameplay Option - Channeling Prevents Rolling: This will prevent your character from rolling while channeling an ability. Off by default.
  • Players now receive a notification when unlocking a new difficulty.

Flurry
  • Damage per hit increased from 50% to 65% weapon damage.
  • Fixed Bladecrest projectiles spawned by Flurry not being affected by any damage increasing talents.
[h2]TALENTS[/h2]
  • Phase Roll: Now deals 75% combined weapon damage to enemies you phase through.
  • Damage received through Symbiosis that does not hitstun will no longer interrupt resurrection.
[h2]MISC[/h2]
Lifesteal now heals more frequently for smaller amounts. Total amount healed unchanged.
IMPROVED
  • World Map now shows which Act your current quest is in.
  • Quest Tracker now shows a prompt to open the World Map if you need to travel to another level to progress your quest.
FIXED
  • Fixed a bug where canceling Sendatu's Crown would expend your Super Charge without activating the spell.
  • Fixed Fireball's projectile getting stuck on allies.
  • Fixed Master volume not working.

Summoner Buffs, Fixes

While outside of Town, Summon skills are free to cast until the first combat starts.

TALENTS

[h2]Cerridwen[/h2]
  • New T1 Talent - Guardian: Minions gain All Resistance equal to 60% of your lowest capped resistance.
  • Telepathic Bond removed.
FIXED
  • Fixed Symbiosis damage not being reduced by a Summon's own damage resistance.
  • Fixed Summons sitting around doing nothing sometimes after using Feast.
  • Fixed Minion counters on hotkeys appearing on non-Summon skills.
  • Fixed some issues with Firefly Summons' projectiles getting stuck.
  • Potential fix for some crashes on Icewastes.
