MEET THE CHARACTERS #3 - BERNARD TRETH
Hello Brave Gatewalkers!
Today we share with you more info about another character you met during the Demo - Bernard Treth!
Bernard is the best blacksmith in the Guild. He is known for his hard work, reliability, and humbleness.
He is a strict man with rules. Self-discipline is what made him a great blacksmith. His parents probably contributed to this, as they treated him in a harsh way. Because of them he became thick-skinned and focused on getting the best in his craft. However, he also became a silent man, unable to build solid relationships with others. When his parents found out about his adoration for the male body, they reacted badly. Unjustly ashamed of his own feelings, Bernard became a curt man.
He was taught work ethics by a professional hunter, called Dupont. His teacher had a daughter, Loulou who became a hunter too, and a master in leathercraft. They knew each other since they were kids, but apart from mutual respect and sporadic cooperative work, they were not connected by greater friendship. But there are some who managed to build a warmer relationship with Bernard - Arvin Gabnis, Markus Henrid, and Fritz Wagner. Bernard generally doesn’t have an open conflict with anyone, but he dislikes Viktor Hemming and Taiho Everdine - the first for craziness, the second one for aggression.
